"Extinct Plantss" Challenge (PLEASE BE SURE TO READ EVERYTHING)
Hello all and my this post is getting out late! Now besides that I want to congratulate those who participated! We had a low turn out for this challenge but that is ok, those who entered did wonderful! I also have a special surprise for those who did enter, each of you may send a CoD for 5k! Congratulations and keep up the work you all :)
(Remember if you are chosen, you need to claim your prize before the next deadline otherwise you will forfeit it.)
I ADORE this design. The soft greens and pinks just compliment each other so well. The choice to make the aeri have a soft vibe was honestly, a great one. I love the traits you chose for it, everything works very well together and wraps up into a complete design! For a prize choose from these (1) (2) (3) stables and pick a pair to get a baby from and send a CoD for 20k!
I will admit, you took a risk choosing such a pale colored plant to base your design on. Working with all whites for the most part is a challenge but, it was a good move, you pulled off a brilliant design. The little hints of green and the mutation choice were wonderful. All in all Good job, send a CoD for 15k!
Faeloras are hard to pull off and come to success with. They're traits have issues overlapping and just going amuk on the body. You managed to make a beautiful fae despite this. The greens - that though didn't vary much - had just enough contrast to blend wonderfully together. Great job, I can't wait to see more from you in the future!

The "Color Swap" Challenge

With this member created challenge, we are mixing things up a little. With this challenge you will be creating a pet only design in which you select a set of traits. The traits are to remain for both genders. Sounds simple enough right?! Here is the trick that gets thrown in that takes the simplicity for a spin. You select a gender to focus the design on down to the exact coloring. Then once completed, you take those colors and swap them around with the other gender. They must be the same colors, no alteration of shades and or hues but the same you used with the first gendered pet. The example below will illustrate that a little more in-depth for the more visual learners out there that we have. Apart from that, we ask that you please follow the requirements and be attentive to requests to make any changes from staff. We also, ask that you all please try and participate. If you need to opt out, please let me know prior to deadline which is next Sunday at 5pm CST.

~REQUIREMENTS~
1.) You must use the same traits on both genders, as well as the same set and number of colors(colors must be exactly the same shade/hex code) even if they are swapped around.
2.) No more than 6 designs per member and or staff wishing to participate.
3.) Keep your C1 coloration the same for both designs so it has one similar color that remains the same.
4.) List out your swaps as illustrated below in the example. You don't have to do it as is displayed, but it must be listed out like that in some way!
5.) Please keep everything to one post, with the designs no bigger than size 240.
~RULES/GUIDELINES~
1.) Core group and Sylestia rules are in affect/effect.
2.) If you need help, please ask for it.
3.) Do not ignore communications between yourselves, other members, and or staff.
~EXAMPLE~
As you can see the male appears one way, and the female another. Yet at the same time appears similar do to the base coloring. Remember have C1 the same color for both to give that similarity affect. If you have any questions, please do ask. We have also included 2 example bases for you to help.
Example A:
The Goal is to have a Male and Female design, with the same traits but the color placement is swapped.
1. Make a design, I'll call this one Design 1, and it will be blue dominant. This will be the Female design, just cause. Current Colors are as follows:
Eye Color: Red
Color 1: White
Color 2: Red
Color 3: Blue
Gene 2: Red
Mutation 1: Blue
2. Then using the same traits, have a male design but swap the colors so it is red dominant
Colors are now:
Eye Color: Blue
Color 1: White
Color 2: Blue
Color 3: Red
Gene 2: Blue
Mutation 1:Red
As a comparison for both designs. So I think for the actual design submissions, show a male & female of each design.
