Dobhar-chu have been reported for a long time, since ancient Ireland. They are said to be very aggressive to humans and dogs. They were said to attack in groups or pairs. First, one Dobhar-chu will attack. If it fails, then its companion(s) will rush in to attack too. They will follow prey through water and onto land.
~Waheela/Saberwolf~
Similar to the Ontario White Wolf, and often considered to be the same animal, the Waheela, or Saberwolf, is a large, wolf-like creature said to inhabit Alaska and the Northwest Territories. It is larger and more heavily built than normal wolves, with a wide head and proportionally larger feet, and with long, pure-white fur. The animals hind legs are said to be shorter than the front legs, and the tracks show widely spaced toes. Witnesses describe it as being about 3.5 feet to 4 feet at the shoulder. Waheela are never seen in packs, so are presumably solitary. Native legends describe the Waheela as an evil spirit with supernatural powers and describe it as killing people and removing their heads. It has been theorized that the Waheela is an Amphicyonid (a prehistoric carnivore of the Miocene and Oligocene), a dire wolf (A large wolf of the Pleistocene), a prehistoric hyena, or a completely new species of canine.

With your design I would suggest adding more browns in, as well as making the browns a warmer red color. With the browns I would make them all darker, as well as making the eye color different from the body. The red in the tail also stands out oddly, I think this could be fixed by adding the red somewhere else through the design as well. So far good job :)

All right folks it is deadline day. Please be sure to submit your designs if you haven't, and make any changes you need to to the designs you have submitted before deadline at 5pm CST.
Sootybean is the only one excused at the moment, as they joined rather late into the challenge. If they participate in this challenge that is right now up to them. They will be joining us in the next challenge hopefully.

Kraken:
The Kraken is a giant squid that lives in the ocean. Various stories tell about it attacking and even killing sailors. Some even mention the kraken crashing the ship. Its believed these legends came from the giant squid which can grow up to about 45ft long.
Thunderbird:
The thunderbird is from various Native American tribes mythology. In the Algonquian tribe, its known as the god of the "upper world". It is said to be able to create lighting and when it flaps its wings, create thunder.

All right, I have completed my updates thus far everyone.
I am pinging you again, because the 24th has been designated as the start of the Mandatory Challenge. That means everyone will be required to participate! There will be no opting out permitted for that challenge. We have given you all ample warning, and we don't do mandatories that often. All 3 of the TOP 3 will receive a prize. To give you a heads up on said prizes...
1st Place - 110,000g, a pet of their choice from the group tab in my stables, a amulet of youthful illusion. 2nd Place - 75,000g, a pet of their choice from the group tab in my stables, and a random item. 3rd Place - 40,000g, a pet of their choice from the group tab in my stables...
