Thunderstorm Nephini

I chose to do a thunderstorm because we just had a bad one recently. Thunderstorms are relatively common where I live and I hate them. Thunderstorms always cause a chain of events to follow one such as power outages and flooding. Also it takes forever to calm my dog down. Thunderstorms also sometimes have tornadoes following them so whenever a bad one comes, we should probably expect a tornado soon. A remember a particular time when I was heading home and a huge one came. There were constant booms of thunder and lighting covered the sky. The only good thing that came out was I got to see purple lighting in person.

Malaria (Biological Natural Disaster)

(Since it spreads by mosquitoes I chose to do lunemaras.)

It strikes fear into me because it's a lot worse than coronavirus. It's one of those diseases where if you get it, you have a high chance of dying. I was trying to find another disease that was spreading during the last Summer Olympics in Brazil but I couldn't find it so I went to the next best thing. A disease that came from both South America and Africa, which is the malaria virus.

Excellent start to your submission this week. Now you just need to meet requirement 3 in order to become eligible for possible placement with in this week's top 3. You have until tomorrow at deadline to do so. Deadline is Sunday at 5pm CST.

Requirement 3: You must provide a brief description of why you chose that natural disaster, and how it strikes fear with in you.

Hurricanes

I already have a bad fear of thunderstorms, so I would not like to be stuck in a hurricane. Hurricanes typically have winds strong enough to blow dangerous objects not to mention enough rain to easily flood a city. There are also prone to form tornadoes which are equally dangerous and destructive. Yeah, no thanks.
