Knight looks up at you, his eyes looking hopeful. He nuzzles his head into you, before following you back to Balthur.

The Centaur leans on his cart, playing with a small wooden object on a string. It rolls up and down, and he then spins it round with a good deal of skill. You distantly remember that it's called a yo-yo.

He looks at the two of you and grins. "Much luck?" he asks, putting the toy in a pouch on his belt.

Shootingstar trots up to you and nudges your leg, whinnying.

He says you've got a scroll, Crimson translates. That should tell you your Higher creature names for where we came from, as we don't know them.

I think to Crimson, I was trying to keep that information to ourselves until we know for a fact if Numbat is friend or not. But since Shootstar wants me to show Numbat the list I will.
I take the list out of my pack and hand it to Numbat, Those are the places we have to go minus the one beside the female hellhound.

"Shall we carry on?" he asks, slipping the harness back over his shoulders.

"Yes, we shall," I reply.

Balthur seems to notice the Wyvern's toy and his grin widens. "Now isn't that just the sweetest thing you'll see," he teases. "I suppose he is just a big kid, after all. The biggest kid I'll ever see," he chuckles.

He picks up the harness from before. "Now, time to get you hooked up, buddy."

Knight looks a bit dubious, but obliges. The Centaur puts it on him, tightening various straps and adjusting cords. When he's finished, he steps back, admiring how it looks.

The Wyvern can now at least be identified as a creature that's with someone, rather than looking wild. He cocks his head to the side, looking at the harness and the saddle between his shoulders. He makes a happy sound, looking at you with joy in his eyes.

"Yeah you do look smart." Nicote chuckles.

He'll find out eventually, Crimson shrugs. We may as well plan where we're heading.

Numbat accepts the scroll and rolls it out, whistling. "Nice record you've got here. Yeah, I know where these places are."

The scroll reads:

"So we'll be dropping off Shootingstar then," he says. "Seems like a long way to go for just one of them, but I can't say I like the sound of going to the Southern territories so your decision makes sense."

Skywhisper shakes out his wings and checks how stable the harness is, waiting for you to get on.

He grins, tucking his little plush toy into one of the sections of harness at his shoulder. Content that it'll stay there, he goes over to the cart and easily connects the harness to it. He makes a trilling noise, sticking his nose up in the air triumphantly.

"Plus he's as smart as he looks," Balthur grins, getting up into the seat. He points to the saddle on Knight's harness. "Feel free, if you both want to."
