*Magic yellow butterflies...* the boy murmured.

*Like the ones Miss lady Oriah shows us!* The girl squeaked excitedly. As she said that, an older boy ran over, picking up he two young kids.

*What did I tell you two about talking to strangers? And you know Lady Oriah doesnt want anyone to know shes here!* He scolded the two smaller children, who apologized

*Nevermind! Miss Lady Oriah left a long time ago and she isnt here anymore!* the little girl told you.

*You said you were looking for some Nomads? There was a group who passed through earlier today. Theyre heading North, if you hurry, you can catch up to them* the teen huffed, pulling the two kids away into an alley, then started running away.

*What happened?* Qillorik asked as he ran over *did you find anything?* he demanded to know

She turned her head to look at Qillorik, quickly standing up and dusting off the dress, trying to look presentable, "The Nomads headed North. And Lady Oriah was here earlier, but they shouldn't tell anyone." she gulped, "They left in a hurry. That's suspicious if I've seen anything, Prince Oba. I'll stay on my guard."

Leto didn't ask who Lady Oriah was, but was worried Qillorik had ran over. He was worried about coming into the slums originally, after they'd left didn't mean the alcoholic wasn't still around. And.. a lady in the slums? How strange.

"Good... perhaps they were scared off when I started running over, I can't imagine that someone like me charging at some small children was a welcome and pleasant gesture..." Qillorik pondered, scratching his chin. "Anyway, we should continue our search, we should hurry to catch up with the nomads, they're headed North, correct?" Prince Oba said

"Well aren't you two a rare sight to see~" A beautiful woman said as she approached. Her attire suggested she was a regular person in the slum, but her fancy hand-fan and attitude suggested she wasn't an average slum person. "What brings you two darlings to this lil ol' town" She asked flirtatiously, fanning herself with her fancy fan, which looked very out of place compared to anything else.

Qillorik institutionally stepped behind you, holding his chin up in a dignified way as he responded.

"We are searching for a magi, and to do so we are going to find the nomads that recently passed through and try to get information about where we can find a magi, so I can become king" He said confidently. The woman snapped her fan shut, staring at the two of you with a different intensity.

"Well then, I suppose you should hurry then, they are known to progress quite quickly" She said, turning on her high heel and strutting off, her posture seeming a little more stiff as she walked.

"She wanted you to say her" she murmured, "Prince Oba, I worry for you on this journey. Nomads move fast as their routes are planned, although it seems random, they often have a seasonal route" she was struggling to remember back to her own Nomadic days, before she was taken, with the reindeer through the mountain. Follow the herd.. that was the rule.

"Quick, institutional thinking will be needed. I am worried for your feet, you are the future King, having sores on them is inappropriate. We are still in your country, can I escort you to the royal palace and borrow a steed to try and follow them. I will not return until I have tracked them down" she did a courtesy out of politeness, "I promise. Days of no food, it doesn't matter. But, the conditions are too harsh for me to insist you travel with me to find the Nomads, I would be a traitor to my job"

She stared after the woman, some instinct told her to follow, "Route.. planned route.. all Nomads have some sort of route, whether it's one lasting three years, it's an instinctive route. I can track them down that way if I had three points of their route" she made up the last sentence; she had no idea if she could track them down. Perhaps only her herd had a 8 month long journey along the same paths. She didn't even know if it was 8 months, time meant nothing to her, only direction.

She shook her head, obviously considering everything over, "No. That's not an option. You're not safe even within the royal household. I can't leave you alone." she paused, "Prince Oba.. how much do you love your siblings?"

*Its not like anyone would see foot sores, even thought it sounds a little gross and unappealing, but dont forget we- I need to be worthy of the Magi, they have to choose me and think Im the right option, I must prove myself a worthy hero capable of taking the throne and bringing prosperity to the kingdom* The prince said, striking a faux heroic pose. *Uhh, lets pretend I never did that* Qillorik said awkwardly, shifting back to his usual royal stance, looking around.

*My siblings? Well, Id say I love most of them quite a lot, well, Ill be honest, I love some a lot more than others... what are you planning? If youre going to suggest assassinating my siblings, thats out of the question, I want to secure the throne in the right way, I dont want to be a bad leader* Qillorik sighed, staring at the ground.

The woman, sensing a stare, turned back, making eye contact with you as she flipped her fan out again, leaning against a wall in an alleyway

"Sight does not matter, they will hinder your movement." she frowned, "Prince Oba, proving yourself does not mean purposefully harming yourself when it can be avoided." she winced, realizing she was speaking against him, taking a minute to regain her composure, she continued with some fear shaking her voice, scared of punishment for defying his wishes.

"Y-you must have some governmental work, but.. hunting down this magi, when you know nothing about what you face. There's a chance it would be like if we followed the Nomads now; an endless circle. Didn't you say yourself, Sinbad's magi came to him?"

"To.. answer your second question.. Prince Oba, even trusting me should have it's flaws. I can not trust that your siblings have the same heart as you, or whether a public citizen may." she gulped, "If your siblings are killed, and the blame falls on the Throne, have me accused and executed, especially if you are already in power."

"If I had to make two guesses, that is Lady Oriah. The second is that we have something she wants, and she has something we want. However, standing here is dangerous" she gestured towards the woman pretending to sleep and the drunk, "If it is heard you were even in the slum, let alone you raised your hand against someone in there, it will become a game." she looked away, "That is the one thing I have learnt serving you"

"Okay, here's the plan then, if you have any objections, let me know, the whole 'don't speak against royalty' is a really stupid idea" He said, crossing his arms "Like, if I have a really bad idea and someone knows better, they should say it to me! I could get people killed and hurt and it could be so easily prevented!" Qillorik crossed his arms.

"I have plenty of money, so we go out and start following the nomads. You go talk to your suspect while I go gather supplies for us." Qillorik said, turning and walking off. "And don't worry too much about me, I know you love me, I don't blame you, I'm irresistible, but I've been trained in self defense, I can handle stuff on my own" He called back to her before running off so she couldn't object.

"You can't tell anyone about me. I have business here that I intend to continue" the suspected lady Oriah said as she appeared next to you. "I can't choose a king yet, I'm only 34, that's way too young for a Magi, I still have so much to learn and experience" She starts telling you as she drags you into her alleyway, pulling four of the blades off her hand fan, tossing them into four holes in the ground, causing a door to appear on the ground.

She brought you down the steps into a comfortable looking house akin to the rooms you've seen in the palace. "Yes, for the record, I am lady Oriah, and I have a duty to fix these people's lives" she confesses, putting on a fancy dark coat with pale purple feathers, matching her fan and heels. "I'll tell you what, though, I can free you from your servant status and make you rich beyond belief, powerful, a hero. Or I can give you... a magic item for your promise of silence, I have plenty" She offered, seemingly desperate for secracy

Leto quickly dropped onto one knee and bowed her head down in respect. "I suspected as much. But, do understand, my Prince is a rightful king. He will not disappoint, and I serve allegiance to him loyally. Even if I was made free, I could continue to serve him" she explained, "If it is your Ladyship wishes to remain secret even to my Prince; I will do my best to abide, but I can not lie to him. If he directly asks me, I will answer." she did not stand up, nor make eye contact.

"If the business is one where Prince Oba can find alliance in, he does not need to know you are a Magi, but he will wish for you to reside somewhere of a better quality, not knowing about down here.. even if he does not quite understand the heart behind such family endeavors that can be found here, he will learn. Please, put your trust in him as I have. He is a good person, a savior none the less."

She smiled, "It would be rude for me to ask anything of you, so if you share the same beliefs as my Prince, then I can follow in your pathways"
