"Manipulation perhaps." He said pulling the nixies close to him like he would a hatchling. "That doesn't bode well for our little friends." The nyvene thought for a moment. "It seems that it's time to make a decision. I will follow the path of the light, to protect them as well as you. I thank you for the warning." He nodded some. Crow would be safe from Rujo, seeing now he didn't have a soul left for her to taunt. Of course he could still feel but if urged to he would be controlled by Death. Silver on the other hand wasn't so easy to protect. His powers were much more powerful than he could even comprehend.

The deer looked over at the three. He was exhausted after running so much. Laying down he slowly dozed off.

The buck walked over to the containment room where Star was kept. Walking in, he was surprised to discover the door on the floor and Star was nowhere to be seen. "So that's how." He growled as he ran out the room.
