Inca stalked off East, tail swaying side to side and head up high, neck curved in fancily. She didn't look back at you, nor reply. She seemed to dislike talking for some reason or another. She lifted her hooves up high over rocks and was careful to take a less dangerous and rocky route when possible. The mare was looking around and heading along a trail that wasn't well worn, some weeds had started growing along it. One path led straight on, however the other headed up.

I followed Inca towards the east, looking along the straight path, then the one heading upwards. I decide to take the path leading straight ahead. After the long day weve had, I figure it would be best to just continue on a most likely safer path instead of deeper into the mountains

You two headed along the mountains and soon came to a small cave. Inca snorted, headed in and you saw a blaze set alight, then a lot of loud noises. To your surprise, a bear came stumbling out and lumbered down the mountain, slipping on rocks. It looked badly burnt as it went. Inca then came out and started sniffing around, nibbling the ground (or so it looked like it).

Inca then came out and started sniffing around, nibbling the ground (or so it looked like it).
*What was that?!* I ask, mostly direction the question towards myself, despite fully knowing it was Inca. *Did you just set that bear on fire?* I asked her. *Thank you for protecting me from the bear, I wouldve never seen it coming* I sighed in relief, grateful to the mare.

Her tail flicked in recognition of your thanks and she then nickered, before heading off to behind some rocks, following and eating a trail of weeds that didn't look too edible to anyone but a horse. as you looked inside the cave, it was nicely heated and there were scorch marks on the walls where Inca had been.

As I watch Inca eat, I feel my stomach grumble.
"Oh... right, I haven't eaten yet today..." I sigh, patting my stomach, somewhat jealous of Inca being able to eat the unappealing weeds. "Well, I better go hunting... do you think we could camp out here in the cave until tomorrow? I don't want us to push ourselves too hard, or get too worn out" I say, walking out of the cave after examining the scorch marks, then pulling out two knives.
He looked at you carefully, "Good. You're on my team. Where do you stay? And you can't tell anyone I'm around"

"With my parents, I can take us there," I tell him

He shrugged, "Sure I can. I'm still strong. Go ahead and do as you please" he did sound a little hurt, though. Probably not ready for his child to go off yet.
I give him a quick hug, as if it could bridge the gap between them. "Sorry." I said, voice muffled as I put my face in my dad's shirt. "Hey!" I look up. "What if we go together?"
