Astra took that as her cue to be quiet and watched them intently her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

Nicote reached for his twin daggers. Holding them out, he pressed something on the bottom, and they suddenly transformed into twin dual blades, sparking with fire and ice.


""Hand-crafted by an old weapon master I knew. Specially ordered.
Hit with fire, you burn, hit with ice, you freeze. Hit with both, poison strikes, hit disguised, danger approaches. Secrets hidden, beware the bearer. Made to last a lifetime true.
At least I think that's how he described it.." He changed the blades back into his twin daggers and sheathed them back into his belt.

"Do they do this?" Saria asked as her dagger rose from hir palm, and turned into a perfect image of Nicote.

Nicote snorted. "I wish. But no-the weapensmith decided I could do that myself, once I figured it out. So he did this." Nicote pulled out a dagger, and tossed it at a nearby tree. The dagger struck deep into the trunk, then pulled itself out and flew back to Nicote (and almost chopping a bit of Crow's hair), who caught it and re-sheathed it. The trunk of the tree now had a deep gash, about halfway through its large trunk.


"One more throw and I could fall that thing." Nicote said.

Smirking, Taeri glanced at the tree. as shi did, a flash of light came from nowhere, and the tree fell over, the point where Nicote's dagger had hit above the cut. Taeri's dagger returned to hir hand, sharp as ever.

Nicote flipped a dagger into blade mode then drove it into the ground. A wall of fire and a wall of ice rose up. Nicote stepped through the walls and flicked his hand. THe walls changed into different forms, a dragon, a bear, and finally a phoenix, after which he made the wals/animals disappear.
"Can yours do that?" he asked, a teasing smile on his face.


(if monsters haven't noticed us by now, i'd be surprised.)

Astrana watched in fascination. She herself rather fight hand and foot or with an arrow. She never tried or wanted anything like that. *Are we seriously comparing weapons right now? How are we ever going to do anything if we cant even get a minute without arguing.*

Nicote's mind went blank. "Huh?....Oh yeah! Wait, why are we even doing this? Aren't we supposed to be looing for some ancient artifact or what-not?" (And why is Dorian so quiet?!) he wondered.

Astra frowned tappping her head. *I think so? But I dont remember...*

Nicole shrugged. "Isnt that why we're all here? To save the world or something of that sort?" He glanced at Saria for help.
