Astra shrugged. "Let me guess you doomed her souls to the shadows, or you haunted her with your daggers." She said playfully with a smirk.

Nicote actually grinned a bit (What was wrong with him today!?)

"Actually, it's more like I appeared right behind her while she was making dinner. She thought I was a goblin at firstt, and in the end, I had a knife pointed at my throat and my sister burned the hem of her skirt." He tilted his head thoughtfully. "I think she also upset the food pot. That's probably why my brother clunked me over the head with his shield the next day."

She laughed. "Oh that's so frightening, please humor me some more. Maybe appear out of the shadows maybe when I'm hmmmm... brandishing an evil food."

Nicote gave her a look. "Seriously? Look, knives are no laughing matter. Especially when you're the one who had to enchant it with spells of Sharpness."

She returning the look blinking her eyes. "I wouldn't dream of it." She smiled her mind connecting the dots slowly. "So that's what you were doing. The shimmering is a spell of sharpness and that's also why you dropped them in the first place."

Nicote just shook his head. "Nope, that bottle is......something else. But you still probably won't want to be on the receiving end of one of my daggers."
