With the increasing userbase and competition for boards, I think contest boards could be improved if there were more prize slots.
If they could double, or even just 3/2, people could get a better opportunity to participate.
Two 3 vis slots, six 2 vis slots, and 12 consolation slots if 20 board prize slots
One 3 vis slot, four 2vis slots, and 10 consolation slots if 15 board prize slots
Right now, with one 3v slot, 3 2v slots, 6 consolation slots is probably not the best considering the current userbase.
Until a few years ago it was probably perfectly fine, but those were also the days when you would not see nearly 100 people in region during a contest.

Support. Doubling or at least increasing the number of prizes would help some of the frustrations of being pushed off the board (or of being pushed into 5th, because 5th place makes people sad).
As there are more and more people trying to participate, I think it would make a lot of sense to allow a few more people to win.

I like this idea too. Honestly, with the growth of the site, I think the doubling model looks like it would work best.

I've seen a bit of frustrations around various contests lately, and I think this is a good way to include more people in the prizes without having to exclude anyone who is willing to put in time and effort.

I support this suggestion,
while newish myself I see the growth and this could help accommodate a larger player base. encouraging them to continue trying.

More chances for prizes? Yes please! It makes sense to increase the prize numbers to account for the increase in users.
