General Frostedsoul looked slightly amused, then threw back his head and let out a genuine laugh- not an evil or maniacal laugh, just a regular laugh. Tigerfrost rolled her eyes and raised her head with a smile as she moved towards her father, who seemed unable to control his laughter at the moment.

Sorry about that guys, Tigerfrost said to Dugz and Vitani. He says its one of the only ways he gets to have fun around here anymore; by scaring or confusing newcomers. She broke off with a small chuckle, then looked back at the two, her face turning slightly more serious. You will have to be taken to the dungeon, unfortunately, but youll be placed in the cells that are taken care of. Its not very dirty and musty, and you get fed three meals a day, sometimes with dessert. You will not be able to leave without your designated escort, though, which will most likely one of the four of us who found you. You will eventually get to meet Her Majesty, and the General will visit on a daily basis. Its not that bad, I promise, but I do have to insist upon your cooperation. She looked over to the seven guards waiting to take them to the dungeon. Do you have any other questions? Youll meet your designated escort for breakfast tomorrow morning. She said, noticing how dark it was getting. A gong sounded in the distance, and Tigerfrost looked slightly panicked for a moment as her father stopped laughing.

Alright, everyone! Get back home, now! Ill see you in the morning! General Frostedsoul yelled to the crowd of guards. He turned back to Vitani and Dugz. Ask the dungeon guards any questions you have. Ill meet with one of you tomorrow for lunch, and the other in the afternoon. He turned and disappeared into the palace.

The only sylesti still out were the seven dungeon guards, Vitani, and Dugz. The leading gaurd stepped forward.

Im the dungeon keeper, Azul. We have no time for questions at the moment, everything will be answered tomorrow, I promise. Then, with much more urgency, Azul commanded Come on!

If Hawk replies tonight, theres someone else also joining but they have a different beginning (kinda) so if they both reply and are waiting on you Ill just make Vitani sleep late or something xD thanks for letting me know)

Dugz chooses 4. Follow the Guards

He wasn't too sure about the whole joke since it seemed that either way it lead up to something bad in the end. He didn't want to end up in a cage again...not when he just got to taste freedom. Though it didn't seem he had any choice. Reluctantly he followed the guards.

The guards lead the Zolnixi and Morkko around the corner of the castle, to the back. One of the guards turned to answer Vitanis question with a warm but silly smile.

Its the Queens palace! Have you been living under a ro- she chuckled at first then cut off and looked apologetically at Vitani. Whoops. I guess you kinda have... The city of Aeri! Named after the goddess of all Aeridini! Shes the one who gave our Queen the power she has. This is the home of nearly every Aeridini in Sylestia! Hundreds of thousands of us live here, under Her Majestys protection. Some of our lives could be much better, but every one of our lives could also be much, much worse. The Aeridinis face fell again. I mean, well... youll see tonight. Im Luna by the way. She turned away again, clearly uncomfortable and unwilling to talk further about the topic she had just brought up.

The guards led Vitani and Dugz into the castle and down a short passageway until the reached a wide, open room with comfortable looking cells lining the wall. The cells were all empty and unlocked. The lead gaurd led Vitani over to one cell while Luna approached with a large bowl of meat and a bucket of fresh water. After Vitani was locked in the cell with her food, Luna grabbed the same food and water for Dugz as he was locked into Vitanis neighboring cell. The guards then moved over to a table, where a small stash of orange potions was. Each gaurd downed a potion and left the room, leaving Vitani and Dugz alone in their cells.

The cells were actually fairly comfortable. Quite spacey, had a private nook to go, soft, plushy pillows in a pile, forming a comfortable sleeping area, and spare space to put the bucket of water and bowl of food.

Dugz and Vitani
Throughout the night, from outside the castle you can hear loud shrieks, as if someone- or multiple someones are going through immense pain. You think you hear the sound of fighting as well, but arent completely sure. You are slightly relieved you are locked safely in a comfortable cell.
At some point through the night, you look out of your cell and notice a second doorway, other than the one you entered the room from.
As it nears dawn, from the other room you hear noises. A scream of pain, then silence for a short time. Then you hear the sound of shackles shifting and movement a few moments later as a pair of guards talk uneasily.



Sky
The last thing you remember was walking through a forest. The very forest that you once called your home, that once fed you and gave you shelter, had turned you into a corrupted murdering monster. You only remember walking on your way back to your tree with some dinner. Although you dont know it, that was months ago. Since that night, which had started off peacefully and just like every other night, you had murdered a couple hundred sylesti in your time as a Lich.
You awaken now, to find yourself lying on the cold, hard stone floor of a cell. You blink a few times and try to move.
For the first time, you notice the shackles. One around your neck and one holding each paw. They lead into one chain, which is embedded in the wall.
As the shackles shift with you, the noise alerts a gaurd, who rushes over to your cell.

He looked down at Sky, the Vulynx who was, until a few moments ago, a Lich.

The gaurd says nothing, but moves away and starts softly talking with another gaurd. Although you strain your ears, youre unable to make out what theyre saying.
