The leading Aeridini continued in silence for a time, eventually stopping near a small stream. She gestured for Dugz to take a drink and spoke again, as her companions all took a quick drink and took up alert positions. One of Her Majestys subjects came rushing back and reported seeing you, or what we believe is you, as a Lich. He said you emerged from the forest with two other Liches and began running towards him. You were ahead of the others, and he said it appeared as if you just suddenly hit a wall. You fell, youre armor disappeared into black ash, your blood markings faded, and your fur all grew back, faster than he could blink. Your companions immediately turned and ran back to the forest. She eyed him critically.

He listened to her answer as he took a drink, leaping the water before turning to face her. "What do you mean? What are you saying, I'm some kind of monster?"

The pale blue Aeridini exchanged a surprised look with the male Aeridini, who had settled close by to listen. She looked back at Dugz. You.... dont know what the Lich are... do you?

"I'm afraid I don't, what exactly is a Lich?" He hadn't ever been out of the stable before, all he knew were the cold stone walls of his stall, and the blood covered rock walls of the pit. The only monsters he had ever seen were the people that made him into what he is.

Vitani Focused in on the group after taking in her surroundings, their expressions showing they were not pleased. she looked behind her to see if there was anyone else they may be laying their scowls on, but to no avail.
With a grunt and a slight sigh she got up her legs still shaking a bit " Oi... what happened ... Ah! geeze, I don't remember ticking your lot off.." she said looking herself over.

The leading Aeridini called to her companions, who resumed their diamond formation around Dugz. We should keep moving. I hope to be back to Her Majesty by Nightfall. After about half an hour, she sighed and looked back to Dugz. The Lich arent exactly... understood very well. We dont know what they are.

Tigerfrost. Thats enough. The NyVene has clearly been on edge since finding the Morkko, but it was the first time she had spoken since.

The Aeridini, known as Tigerfrost, sighed and continued on in silence for a while. After another almost hour, she paused in shock, and watched a Corrupted Lich Zolnixi run from the direction of the river towards them.


Just as it was described to Tigerfrost, the Zolnixi appeared to hit an invisible wall and crumpled to the ground as the bony wings and armor disintegrated into ash, and her glowing purple blood markings faded away. Her fur began changing color as well, and the ash reformed itself into a belt and supplies strapped to the Zolnixi.


Tigerfrost turned to the group. Morkko, stay here. You three come on. She gestured to her companions and they walked forward to the fallen Zolnixi.

Who is she? The male Aeridini asked.
She looks injured. Tigerfrost said. Hey! Zolnixi! Get up! She said in a commanding tone.

The morrko stood completely still, watching in shock as the zolnixi changed back to normal. So he had been that way as well? What could possibly be causing this to happen? W-would it happen again if he wasn't careful?
