She looked puzzled, What is a Lich?

"Sylvorpas eh? Interesting, interesting," Jack takes another look around the city, making sure to keep up with his guide. He gives a discreet glance around him, before lowering his voice, "You wouldn't happen to know why the Queen chose us, would you? Not that I'm not flattered, of course, but I have to wonder if there's something special about those who've been...." His voice drops even lower, "who've become Liches and have then, inexplicably, changed back." Jack give his guard a curious look, watching carefully for her answer.

Alaiora shrugged. The Queen doesnt need to confide in anyone about her decisions. We all trust her to do whats right and protect us. She doesnt often purposely put anyones life at risk without good reason though, so Im sure she knows what shes doing.

"Safe travels for you as well, Jack." Vekinor calls.

Vekinor then turns to his guard. "Thank you Tiger, I am ready when you are."

To the extend of my knowledge, a Lich is a curropted being. Curropted by what? That is uncertain. They began cropping up a couple years ago, and just a few days ago theyve started turning back. Only one has been known to have returned to normal and transformed back into a Lich.

Something sparked in her head, What if they are able to control when they turn back? But they dont because they feel powerful?
