Putting a chip in his mouth, he asked, "So, how's school been, seen any guys lately- not that you should, I'm just asking, and please tell me that Pete did not try to talk you into his job. Because I'd say no if he did."

"Now, you listen, young lady." Tony put his hands on his hips in mock severity. "You're like, what, fifteen? You don't have to start looking for a date for, like, ten more years. Twenty-five, Sophie, that's when I'll let you get a date. Nah," he grinned, "just let me meet the kid when you find him. And he better be taller than you." Tony shoved a couple more chips in his mouth, then stood and wiped his hands. "Okay. I've got to go finish that thing for Clint, then I've got to fix the bug in the eyes in the spider suit, and then I've got to speak with a potential client before eight, maybe I can push that back to eight thirty. What is it now, like 6?" He glanced at his watch. "Quarter after, oh man. I gotta hustle. Love you, Soph. Don't stay up too late." He hurried off to his lab.
(When I type in "I've got to" on mobile, my predictive text thing says "conquer Jotunheim")

Peter read the message. "Yes!" Thumbs flying, he texted back, "awesome, have something to show you then.also algebra." He made a face as he remembered he hadn't finished today's homework. Reluctantly, he pulled out the textbook and his notebook. Opening to Lesson 87, he settled in for a long night of quadratic equations.
