So if I finish the storyline and get to level 60, I can just go into the Lost Grove?
You don't have to be Level 60 - but it would strongly be recommended. You probably would reach Level 60 anyway just completing the main storyline.
But yes, you have to complete the main storyline - that's what will unlock it.

For who have contributed just at least a single point to Stage 1, you are good to go for the Stage 2 unlock on Saturday at 12 PM.
For those who are just now trying the Lost Grove and were unable to contribute to Stage 1 before it completed, you can now begin working on your own individual instance of Stage 1. If you complete your own individual instance by Saturday at 12 PM, you will join everyone else for the global Stage 2. If you complete your own individual instance after Saturday's release, then you will join the global Stage 2 whenever you complete your individual Stage 1.
Edit: Also, the Avatar Items related to Section 1 are now viewable in the Wardrobe.

So I decided to try the Lost Grove - quite hard so far but surviving just about! However am not sure how many of the materials listed I need to get to complete the construct barracks task? The list gives a number for those collected but no percentage value. Not sure if that's a glitch?

Every time you collect something you have to go back to the golden soldier
at the barracks's building place. Talk to him that you can help and give him the materials.
Percentage value should update every 5% ^^

I made points on stage 1, but when I go to the Lost Grove, it says I am still on stage 1 but everything is green and completed?
Edit: The part where it comes out of Sat didn't register in my brain. Sat the 24th, right?
