Where can I buy the armor set that came out for the Grove?
Do you mean the Avatar stuff? The Ethernian Legionnaire set?
At this time, none of it is available. The Lunar set was awarded to those who had pre-ordered it years ago when it was available.
The other 3 sets will eventually be able to be crafted from within the Lost Grove though.

You progress far enough into the story. Specifically, you need to clear all the way through astryl's vale- in other words, up through the level 60 content.

Eventually, yes. It's a pretty long questline, though- currently six parts- and therefore you need to unlock some of the functionality over time.

But to answer your question, you can get a third party spot for 25,000 gold in the Sanctuary of Sarielle (at the plaza).
And as a welcome present, here is a Ferrikki you can use on your team if you like! You can get her by buying her for 1g from me. They are a brand new species, and you can normally only find them late in the game (in the last area of sylestia).
