"I dont know for sure. But whoever it was means you need to get away from here." Ash said quietly. She was unique and I nodded. I knew the dangers. I wasnt safe here. She was nervous looking. What had spooked Ash? I took a deep breath. I hurried off and wasnt aware that Ash was following. "How do you even get stuck here?" Ash asked puzzled. She wanted to know what was happening.

-The Midnight Ryori P.O.V-
"Master!" It hissed viciously. A large ryori opened its eyes exposing its blood red eyes. "There is a trespasser! A Lighira I believe.. Im unsure master." It said. The ryori nodded. "What shall we do?!" It asked angrily.

"We send a message to the king." It growled and smiled wickedly. The ryori rushed off and was quick. "This Lighira will be caught and we will find the truth out." It said quietly and darkly.

(I have an idea of the lighira. But we will let whoever wants to will decide the gender)

"I'm really not sure." I sort of blurted back to her, returning to the only safety I was certain of for now. My little grove. "It's never really happened like this before." I told her in a lower voice.

Ash blinked as she followed behind me. "So you are shut in now, with all of... Us." She stated to me more than asking a question. The hesitation in her response of 'us' seemed to give me hope that she might be a possible friend after all. I turned to try and greet her when she asked. "Are you really going to keep trying to hide in the bushes? It isn't like anyone is missing your life force or anything."

That was certainly something I was glad to find out now. "You mean everybody knew I was there? That's just great, now what will I do?" I stared at my homey little grove in dismay. They would find me in an instant if I returned there.

Ash surprised me a little when her yellow eye darted out of the corner of my left eye. She seemed to be studying my face, or my aura, or life force or whatever it is ryori see of us. "If you are going to stay free long enough to return to where you come from, you need to follow me." She said...

I tilted my head at her. "Where are you going to take me?"
Ash looked back at me as she started to walk away. She seemed to smile softly in response. "It's a surprise."
Intrigued, I followed after the Ryori. It felt like a very long walk before she came to a door in a hill. It looked a bit too small for me. I voiced my concern.
"I thought you would be able to squish through. I underestimated your size....."
We stared at the door for a long time. Then I shrugged and sighed. "I could try to fit through."
Ash nodded. "Yeah. Maybe Frost put more adjustments to the entry hall like he has been discussing."
Ash opened the door and slipped inside. She waited on the other side and coaxed me to come through.
I crouched and crawled on my belly to get inside the door. I almost got all the way through. Almost. My butt got stuck just as I came out.
Ash saw this and grabbed me by my scruff. She pulled with all her might while I dug my claws into the ground in front of me. Together, we got me unstuck.
After that, there was enough room in this place for me to stand up. "Seems like a lot of space for such little creatures," I observed.
Ash sighed. "Well, Constellation likes high ceilings, so Frost made it a big place."
I looked at her as she lead me into the main room. Different hallways lead off of it in different directions. "What are these names you keep throwing at me?"
"I believe she was talking about me," said a voice.
I jumped and turned. A male Ryori stood behind me, studying me. I noticed, he ,too, was peculiar. He had turquoise markings on his gray body. He wore a mask for some reason.
"Ash, is that you?" Someone called. A black male Ryori with blue markings, blue icicle shards, and horns on his head entered the room. He froze and stared at me in surprise. "Who is that?"

One of my attendees rushed in.."My lady,a stranger has appeared.They met Ash.." he said the name with a hiss..."calm down,Nova" i tell him "we will find the stranger before the other Ruler's do.." she patted him.."But.." he started to say but stopped himself

"Nice to meet you as well..... You are quite a long way away from home aren't you?" Constellation asked. Frost looked curiously at me..... Geez..... In a world of Ryoris, of course I would be a strange encounter. I closed my eyes and nodded.

"You should be careful..... One like you would be suspicious.... Very suspicious." Frost said and looked at me. He began to almost sniff me. I was a bit uncomfortable with him sniffing me. "You shouldn't probably go outside at all..... Stay here where it's safe." Frost said. Ash nodded.

I looked downwards. What was I supposed to do.....? I wasn't sure..... This was all the more new to me. Ash nudged me. "Come on." She said and lead me along. I followed silently. I looked around cautiously and took a deep breath.

I followed Ash expecting to be found a cellar or some clothes cupboard to hide in, just in case the ryori authorities came poking there noses in here looking for me. Instead she took me to a plain looking room with a nesting bed.

"It's not much, but if anybody comes looking for you here, there wouldn't be anywhere to escape too." Ash spoke as she escorted me into the room.

"Oh,.. Why is that?" I dare ask

Ash blinked as I moved about the room and sniffing to be come familiar with the room. Her head followed me about the room as she addressed that. "You may not be able to tell it, but my den mates and I. Well, we are sort of the misfits in our own land."

"So is that kind of why your eyes are more colorful than the other ryori?" I ventured to query.

Ash crooked her head at me in a way most peculiar, as if she didn't understand what I was saying. Constellation and Frost peeked into the room just then. Obviously,they were eaves dropping in on our conversation. I was so annoyed at them that my tail began to swish behind me. However, I kept my focus on Ash to see what she was going to say about that. It might hold a clue to my freedom.

Ash was silent for a long moment. Then she shook her head. "My eyes aren't colorful," she said. Immediately, she glanced at Frost.
That's when I knew she had lied. "Liar."
She shook her head. "No...."
"Yes."
"No."
"Yes."
"Fine. Yes, I'm lying." She looked over at Frost again.
I turned to look at him. I saw that he had lowered his head and appeared frightened. "Why are you afraid?" I asked.
"Only the upper class is supposed to have color. We are not upper class. It's all my fault we have to hide away and be alone." Frost buried his face under his paws while Constellation consoled him.
"What? What does that mean?" I was surprised. Color had something to do with your class in society? How odd.
Ash sighed as she watched Frost. "Frost is a mage. He discovered a book of magic and used it to give his closest friends, me and Constellation, some color. He did not know about the different classes then. But now he feels that it's his fault that we don't fit in."

"Oh...well i know that feeling" i glanced at my paws..."Well all of us have something that the Higher Ranks don't" Ash replied.."What?"Constellation growled at her.."Freinds" she replied snarkly...I backed up a little unsure if a fight was going to happen

"We will find the Lighira,and find out why they are here..." i say.Nova looked at Amaris hopefully.."You sure my highness?"

"Yeah......" Frost said quietly. He looked down. I looked at him and then at the others. I shuffled my paws nervously. I didn't know if they were going to fight then Constellation sighed in defeat. I was a bit relieved.

"You're right........" Constellation admitted. I sighed with relief. Oh thank you! I thought. Ash smiled slightly. I relaxed a bit.

-Noble/Duke ???- P.O.V-

"Soooo my friend.... There is this.... Lighira on the loose you say?" I asked. The servant nodded. I smiled and laughed. "Oh the poor thing..... Getting trapped here.... In our domain. It's a shame." I said with a wicked grin and the servant looked nervous. The servant had a thick band around its neck that was reddish. It was nervous. "Get together my knights and bring them here. Now!" I growled. It rushed off quickly.
