The new thought filed itself away with his suspicions, strengthening and weakening them at the same time. He had started to nod in acknowledgement of Xan before he heard the last part. *Wait, the Lord?* Like the guy who sent me here? Or was it just another coincidence?

Micah shrugged, he should probably learn to stop questioning everything that happened here. He jogged after Xan, wondering how his short legs managed to keep up such a fast pace with so little visible effort.

Diana scuttled back to you and tugged on your pant leg, then ran back to the bed and put her paws up on the side, looking back at you. Pretty obviously, she was suggesting you get some rest, as the sun was setting outside. Other things can wait- like, just go snuggle with the raccoon xD.

April sighed and did as the narrator said, although she drew her figners nervously through her hair as she tried to get to sleep and stroked Diana gently, she kept on telling herself not to think, but to try to rest, clearing her mind was hard.

Xan saw you hurrying and he slowed down a bit, looking up at you. "So... any thoughts? You had your own thoughts before the team came, and now they gave some insight on the matter. Did that change anything?" He seemed to want to hear your train of thought out loud.

Narrator magically places you in the bed and tucks you in, giving you a small pat on the head. Diana snuggled in beside you, resting in the crook of your arm. She was recovering well, you notice, as her breathing and heartbeat were both steadier now. Would you like to dream?

April closed her eyes and took in a deep breathe, letting herself fall asleep as she held Diana close. She thanked narrator mentally and tried to clear her mind before setting off into magical dream land.

Micah gave a brief nod of thanks for slowing down before answering. *Well, at first I thought that maybe they had something to do with it all, making things float in al. But then hallucinogens were suggested and now I am not entirely sure. If hallucinogens were used, how were they administered and why go to all the trouble instead of murdering the person. And why the two parties? It is all very confusing.*
