"Well," Xan thought for a moment. "What if the murders are not necessarily linked to the second party? What if the victims had something the second party wanted, but they didn't want anyone to know that something was missing, so they destroyed the body as well?" You were both nearing the mansion of the Fancy-Hat man now.
(I forgot Fancy-hat-man's name xD)

A light breeze wakes you up, and you find yourself in a grassland with a few trees dotting here and there. At your feet, there are seven Dianas, all looking up at you, jumping for your attention. You may dream and wake up :)

I'm absolutely terrified. Which one is the real Diana!? She woke up from the nightmare before she needed to find out owo

(XD Me too)

Micah cocked his head thoughtfully, "Yes, that is a possible solution. Ugh." he clenched a fist, "There's just so much we don't know!" He blinked, "Have people examined any correlations between the victims yet? Maybe that could be helpful?" he suggested halfheartedly. They probably already had, and found nothing, again

It was well before dawn, but the bed was like cloud and made you feel extremely well rested. On the small table beside you was a simple but nutritious breakfast consisting of some croissants, some milk, some jam, butter, and cheese with bread to go with it. There were also some nuts and berries in a bowl. An apple and a banana rested by all of that.

"It's... complicated. Takes some time to figure out the identity of the victim, right?" Xan gave an uncomfortable laugh before stopping at the gates of the mansion and holding it open for you. "You can take a look at the files that we've collected so far. The most recent victim we have still yet to find out his or her identity."

April gulped and she sat up, crossing her legs under the blanket as she looked around. She wondered who the person doing all of this was. She looked at Diana and decided to take some cheese off and tear off some bread, she then offered the mini sandwich to Diana.

He nodded with a slight grimace. *I can see why, * he muttered under his breath. He stepped through the gate with a nod of thanks as he spoke aloud, *Sure, why not? It cannot hurt, right?*

Diana hesitantly glanced at the sandwich but after some time extended her paws, grabbing it. After she took it, she stared at it for some more time, as if inspecting it, but then shoved the entire thing into her mouth. She then looked at you and tilted her head, indicating the food that you had left relatively untouched. Yes, she was asking you why you were not eating anything.

Have a coot racoon eating something photo:

"Well, please do. Perhaps you will find something of interest." Xan hurried forwards, through the luxurious gardens, and towards the white, elegant mansion. He glanced back at you once to make sure you were keeping up before stopping at the door and opening it for you.

(Cuteeee)
April gave a small smile that wavered. There was still an awkward twisted feeling in her stomach, nervous about taking from the person that was so courteous to her when she had no idea who they were or however she could repay them, she felt guilty for taking what was theirs, even if offered. She gave Diana a stroke on the head, rubbing behind her ears. She had a bad feeling in her gut, but that was probably the guilt. She fingered Dianas ears, nervous and on high alert.
