Finished! I used my new brush markers, but they had limited colors so I had to substitute with colored pencils occasionally.
I didn't realize the thing in the new species' tail was an orb until I had finished it, whoops! So it's colored as part of the tail.
Also, the markers didn't blend to well when I tired to do the sky...

Edit: Oh my GOSH I FINALLY got it. I feel accomplished. If you STILL can't see, let me know. I did it in Paint, so I'm feeling proud of it (you know, because Paint is absolutely terrible and difficult to use). There may be edits yet to come~

To be blunt, I'd probably say no to actual objects.
However, you can do like snow, frost, simple lights (not necessarily like strands of lights, but just glowing lights inside), etc. Things that wouldn't require actually lining out.

I've been waiting for this for so long !
As always, thanks to the artist for the pretty lineart !
It was a great opportunity for me to experiment light effects. :)
(edit- I forgot a few marks on the vorpa's "ears" so I quickly added them :P )

I was a little confused about the rule for having the entire canvas colored in, since I'm traditionally coloring it and I want the snow to be white, so am I allowed to leave part of it white?
