I think both the one on the right and the one in the box are the megazone species (note how the baby in the box has horns, ear tufts and a fluffy tail.)

ok so there is a part in the tree that is really fluffy, am I correct in that it is a tail?

Its a nest with an egg in it I think :)
(If its a tail, I colored it as a nest xD )

If you look at the original drawing on the advent calendar, its the same colour as the animal on the right, so I assume that that's its tail, and the 'egg' its holding appears to be some form of crystal ball (Intense light indicating a shiny surface). This is how I'm interpreting it though, for all we know their egg might actually be a crystal ball.

The one in the box is a Vulnyx and the one on the right is of the new species that has yet to be released or officially named.
