For my Patriotic Pet entry, I chose the Ryori, and for my country, I chose Canada. For inspiration, I used the Canadian flag, all my memories living here for all my life(I live in Canada), and it is Canada's 150th birthday this year!

This is based off of the American flag, hence the Stars & Stripes!
The antenna because I needed a third and they remind me of fireworks.

Get away from city life. I still dream of it, sheep herding, owning my own farm on a lush countryside, visit the castles, perhaps enjoy some serious horseback riding in the fresh air, along the cliffs over looking the oceans, feel like I would be flying. Would love to learn more about the history of Ireland if I ever visit. Perhaps some trips to a museum-drink different kinds of teas, eat different foods, dance the jigs- I always was fascinated by Ireland. With my husband being quite a lot Irish, I often tease about his mustache, how it changes from blond to red, top to bottom...just his mustache, so I am choosing the Flag of Ireland as my Patriotic pet. I love what I have heard about Ireland, and its peoples.

I really love your design! My dad's line is Irish, when he grows a mustache it is black and red. Especially in sunlight.

Based on the flag of South Africa.

I'm American, but I was thinking of doing Scotland or Wales, because I like those counties and have a heritage connected to them. I even found out that Scotland has a cool alternate flag (the Lion Rampant). But I ended up doing South Africa because I have a connection to that country, too. (I was born in the US, but I was in South Africa before I was born.) And it's a cool flag!

No reason for a Lupora except I like them, and the markings worked well. ;)

I know. I originally did, but I realized that I liked the one without anything better.

Inspiration came from the American eagle/flag. I firstly chose the American flag because I, myself, am a proud American citizen. At first I had planned to use the Aurleon, however it looked more like a swan than an eagle. And the only other bird-like Sylesti was the Griffi (The Nytekrie looked more like an exotic house bird, like a macaw or a cockatoo). It took me a long time, but I finally managed to make it look a lot like the American flag.

One of its genes, Diamond Dust, was made to look similar to that of the stars on the American flag. The rest of the body was a bit difficult to do because it was either too much blue or too much red but I finally managed to equalize it with the white on the wings. After coloring the wings white and red, I added Wings Tips which made it look similar to the American flag. And finally, Astral Wings were chosen because they were the only wings that looked neat enough to bring out the American flag on them.
