Now I have 5 girls and 1 boy:

Purchased more egglings hoping for al least one more boy - otherwise, he will be pretty "busy" - trying to keep this family friendly =)

Glad you're extending this. I will be able to get more philters and such for my projects....as well as a few plays of the Lucky Pot.

Will the new "sale" price for Prismatic Philters be the "new normal"? If so....gotta cut back on my projects.

I honestly can't really say atm - we are weighing various options for item sales down the road now that we have a new Diamond Shop to play with. But I am massively distracted with everything else going on atm; haven't had a chance to really look into anything yet. =S

I normally wouldn't be so negative, but I find this fest absolutely ridiculous. It should not be possible for me to waste $40 out of my own pocket and get no theme pets at all. My bar was at 100% for the past three or four times I've played the pot. This last time, I had 2 of the slots scratched, and borrowed money to be able to add four more scratchies. Still no theme pet. I was really looking forward to this fest, but if I am being perfectly honest, I am a little disgusted at it now.

I'm sorry that you've had a bad experience with the Lucky Pot.

When you first play the game and the Theme Bar is at 0, there is no guarantee that the Themed Pet Eggs are even on the scratch board.

As the bar fills up, the chances of the Themed Pet Eggs being on the board increase (if they're there, there are at least 3 of them present so that the prize can actually be won), and the amount of Eggs increases.

Once the bar is maxed out, the Themed Pet Eggs are always guaranteed to be present on every game until you win and the maximum amount of Eggs are present.

Unfortunately, there is no guarantee to win because the prizes are pre-set on the board. So if you don't happen to scratch off the right spots, you won't win the prize.

As for the event in general, it's not meant to be a full Festival. I know it's in the name, but that's because that's what we originally called it back in 2013 and "Fortune Event" doesn't quite sound as nice as "Fortune Festival". But the Seasonal Festivals (Spring/Summer/Fall/Winter) are the ones that will have lots of content and lots of things to do. Any other 'Festival' or 'Event', will be minor and just offer a couple of fun things to do.

I'm sorry that you were not able to win a Themed Pet with your plays, but there are still a lot of other valuable prizes that can be won and if you don't want to play the Lucky Pot anymore, you can just instead opt to purchase Pets from other Players.

I agree Fortune Event doesn't sound as good Fortune Festival. Maybe if it was a bit longer. Something like "The ______ Fortune Event" or "The Fortune _______ Event". Not creative enough to come up with what other word to throw in there though.

The Week of Love Event sounds good though. So does The Thanksgiving Event. Those are the only other two events that I can think of that we tend to have?

Yea. Basically just the Week of Love, Fortune Festival, and Black Friday Event are the 3 atm. More may get tossed in there as times goes on. Once things are established, it's easier to repeat it year after year.

Events are mainly just ways for the Site to get some revenue in between major Festivals while giving Players a chance to collect some new things, an event to release some new artwork around, and some occasional other things like new Mutators/Philters/etc.

Sorry, I'm rather new to the site.
I have a question about the shamrock tokens that we have collected during this event.
Will the shamrocks that we have collected and not spent roll over for the event next year?

They will not.

If the Currency is reused, it'll be converted to 500 Gold per Shamrock and will just be vendor fodder.
