The gold that has been accumulating in the Jackpot game. At some point, there has to be a point where the game is closed, correct?
What will happen to the gold that has accumulated?
Oh: The game ends at 12:59 PM = I though it meant AM - Still waiting for my coffee to "kick in".
I still am curious about what happens to the gold.
You have to get 3 Jackpot coins on the scratch off to win it. It's been won like a dozen times since the Festival began.
Once someone wins, it resets back to 5 million gold.

Hey there!
I believe the Jackpot has been won several times already; it doesn't get announced. As for what happens at the end of the festival to all the gold, I think it just gets "deleted." Since it's a digital currency, it's not like it gets cycled back into the economy by the admins. The Lucky Pot serves as a currency sink (Gold or Diamonds).
Of course, I could be totally mistaken. Perhaps Krin, in his overcoat and dark sunglasses, takes whatever is left of the Jackpot to the Black Trade Broker (or BTB) where all the shadier deals take place. You know, like selling Amped Up Prismatic Philters that are double the normal effects, or Mutated Genetic Mutators that apply more than one thing...
Just kidding, of course! I don't want him to know that I know about the BTB! (jk jk!)

Well - I added enough diamonds to have at least one person trying to negotiate for my puff egg.
Does that count towards me getting some gold back?
That back room must be on the other side of the "Grotto" where I am still searching for the hermit. Perhaps a few coins will be dropped along the way for me to find.

It came to my attention that the Fortune Festival items in the Diamond Shop disappeared and weren't added back.
I went ahead and put them back as they were supposed to be available through Sunday.
