((OOC: Here a rundown, as I understand it, of what everyone is doing (feels like he is GMing a table game)
Heroine, #F80C06, holding action to shoot a lightning bolt at the elemental. No notion that she is aiding Kanakwella.
Amara, #532800, atop the falls watching everything transpire.
Amethyst, #2347D8, has launched a water attack at the ryori, not far from Dhuka, forcing them to split and escape into the air.
Aleria, #175B07, is in the water with something broken and needs help.
Meara, #4F0C0C, is still coming to the fight.
Raka, #990C0C, Water elemental trapped in kelparie form is somewhere in the water elementals body or nearby it.
Kipper, #F257D6, ashore and warning them of Raka's perceived true form.
Kanakwella, #6A5670, chasing away the fishes. but a fin has been torn in the work. and she is caught in the wave.
Dhuka, #918C61, she is on the surface of the water and impeding a lightning strike from Heroine.
Grim Rose, #1A2246, merged with Metal to apparently invoke Mermydon's life orb or instill it into their offspring. Is now in the air overland.
Metal, #BD8549, is now in the air overland.

Color codes left in for those that wish to use theirs. ))

Elementals weren't exactly bright, but it didn't need much smarts torecognize who was calling the shots. Mermydon, had become a target of interest from the sky alone. Already the situation had turned just as quickly as his lateral lines were receiving information. He transmitted out to the other kelparie. He was glad he didn't have to reintroduce himself and the information sent took less than a millisecond. ~Amara and Amethyst please carry the Morkko below the surface for a single gulp, then return her to shore. She can better help protect Grim Rose and Metal, and allow Heroine to attack our foe with her lightning bolts. From there any fight you can give against this monster will be appreciated.

Raka, if you have elemental ability, think command the fishes to flee into the river, to aid Kanakwella with her chore. This shouldn't hurt your attack on the monster. Aleria Swifthorn, hang in there, I will be down shortly to help you.~
Orders sent to his fellow kelparie he had to tilt dodge a couple swings from the elementals whip and limbs and the occasional waterspout it spun at him. He was uncertain what to do about the little syvorpa at the time and had no knowledge yet of Amara's presence. But there was still one last order to give. Mermydon was no major scholar, nor understood Faraday's theories on electric current flow, but he knew that lightning didn't penetrate the surface of a body of fresh water, like Astryl's Tranquility, and he's lived in it his entire life lightning strikes and all. "Heroine, start calling up your thundercloud. Once Lady Morkko is underwater, hit that abomonation with everything you got!"

No more words, as he dove at the elemental this time his entire body began to glow like softened sunlight a trail of little bubbles of light started ebbing off as a trace where he had cut through the air. Suddenly a pillar of water raised up from the surface on his blind side and smacked his tail hard. Mermydon's angle of attack was out of sync but he managed to hit a deep glancing blow. that only got him just under the surface and nowhere near where the darkness was permeating the fluid body. Still the Fairy Light was able to draw the life energy from out of the elemental and with a hard flick of his tail, managed to clear himself of the monster. He needed a moment to gain his bearings before searching for Aleria. When he found her, she was indeed in trouble! Her injured movement attacted the attention of some rogue water sprites. He hastened to her side and knocked them away long enough to wrap himself about Aleria and release his healing light directly into her body. She could feel what was broken mend, painful but quick and partially restored at least enough to keep her in action. "What say we vanquish these little beasties and get back into picking a fight with their boss?" He asked her rhetorically.

"We don't need help!" Grim Rose protested. She then looked at Metal. She whispered something that only Metal could hear and understand. Metal looked back at her then slipped away into a shadow. Suddenly he came back with more ryori. There was 10 ryori with him. They helped out with fighting. They helped by getting other sylesti out of the area. He saw Grim Rose following him.

Amara wasn't the best swimmer, but she couldn't just watch and do nothing. She Carefully made her way down the side of the falls her fur becoming wet from the spray of the falls and the water attacks not far away now. The first person she saw was a mare who seemed to be caught in the waves the Elemental was creating.

She simply waved her nose in the direction of the mare and a pair of Vines near a tree base sprung into action lassoing around the mares torso. with a wave of the vixens snout in the other direction the Vines began to pull her in to shore so she would not be overpowered by the waves.

It hadn't occurred to Raka to aid Kanakwella's efforts to coral the fish. The real question was how, perhaps it was as simple as willing the fish to obey his command.

Raka projected his will towards the fish, concentrating as hard as he could on making the message reach. A subtle ripple seemed to emanate from him and travel the entire area of the lake. As soon as the ripple passed by one of the fish, it would turn and head towards the safety of the stream.

Suddenly feeling very dizzy it took Raka a few moments to remember what he had been doing beforehand. Right, the heart of the elemental!
His thoughts clear once again he turned his attention towards the elemental.

When the mare finally reached the shore Amara could tell she had injured her fin and trotted over quickly " You're Hurt... would you mind if I helped?" she asked in a shy forced tone, she didn't know them, yet she was compelled to help all that she could.

Aleria, admired Mermydon's ability to lead although is did'nt suprize her, she let out a small yelp as the healing light mended her. She still fealt weak but at least she was'nt completly helpless a feeling she hated, floating next to him in the water she nodded in agreement ready to tear the little water devils to shreds. She flashed a wicked smile towards the water sprites befor whippng herself forward using her odd spines to tear into one.

The elemental didn't seem to acknowledge the dark growth slowly filling out its watery body. It did not present itself as an immediate threat as the light beams and faerie bubbles from Mermydon had done. However, the wave that allowed the fishes to escape its influence got the elemental's attention and pinpointed Raka as the source. He looked like an elemental fragment in the eyes of the creature, but clearly not one of its. As Raka entered into the vortex of its core, it simply willed the blackened water surroundingRaka to transform into ice and encase the annoying little fragment. And he was suspended in a prison of ice floating on the surface of Astryl's Tranquility. Raka didn't emenate the warmth as the other kelparie did, so there was little fear of him melting out of it's prison. With Raka and Mermydon out of the way, the creature turned it's focus to Heroine. She was hesitating to strike, which made no sense to the elemental. It dropped it's body down into the ocean and directed all of the displaced water onto shore to wash out Heroine, Kipper, Dhuka, Amethyst, Grim Rose, Metal and their Ryori allies with a 50 foot tall tidal wave!

--------------------------------------------------

Mermydon's immediate concern was the water sprites before him and Aleria. He had temporarily lost transmission from Raka and Kanakwella only for it to return with the bad news from both of them. Thankfully neither of them was in immediate danger. He flared out his fins with a shaking motion and his pearls again drawing in packets of light to draw the water sprites to him instead of Aleria. He covered her injured side and attracted three of the creatures to meet him in battle, while the last one was able to flank him to get at Aleria. While preparing to make his stand he thought clearly for the ryori to hear his thoughts. ~Is there anything you can do to speed up the growing darkness inside the elemental?~ He inquired in thought. But immediately after he finished his thought the counterforce of the elemental dropping into the lake forced Mermydon and Aleria outward towards the water sprites. He thought that the moment was lost until he realized that the water sprites were also caught off guard by the wave forces. In an instantaneous reversal, Mermydon invoked his power again and created a fairy bubble of light, drawing life energy out of the four sprites and redirecting it once more into Aleria, fusing her broken parts completely, until there were only minor muscle tears and bruising. Unfortunately the two of them were slightly separated by the sprites. "You and your shieldmare are in need of aid, Pearlbeam." A familiar voice rang in his ear. Yet again the Lord of the Sylvorpas was here to his aid, to which Mermydon simply nodded grateful for the help as he sprang back into action, blasting away at the sprites!
