(Also intrest ping might ping you on the original thread too)
Heroine nodded she picked up jaxion who was close to kanakwella "come on little one." she said

kanakwella leaned over onto mermydon her hair was messy but beautiful in the sun

Undyne broke her silence "sir!" she said almost trying to hold her fin up to her forehead "would you mind if i accompany you?, we wouldn't want the princess getting hurt at any matters now would we?" undyne asked "i was second closest to the princess in her childhood."

Akega let his fin off undyne and made it so her armour wasn't as heavy

Mermydon

The gentle contact from Kanakwella purposefully leaning against him broke Mermydon's concentration like a ritual enchantment of old. He was bewitched by the young beauty whose features he was staring into and didn't even acknowledge Heroine's or Jaxion's departure. The moment seemed to stretch onward for him as he focused on every feature, every curve, and how the light played wistfully in her hair and horn. For the moment he feared that his heart was pounding so hard and fast that she must surely hear and feel it pulsing so close to her face.
"Sir! Would you mind if i accompany you? We wouldn't want the princess getting hurt at any matters now would we? I was second closest to the princess in her childhood."

Undyne's words managed to weave it's way into dispelling at least some of Mermydon's musing. Her firm voice drew his attention for the moment to gt back to the matters at hand.

"I think perhaps it is I that should be asking that of you Mare Undyne." Mermydon said reflectively. "Look around and see, Hallenjax has a full complement here to escort the royal family back upstream. From the moment we leave this lake I would onlybe a guest in your company and care, captain. But if you seek my permission, then by all means you have it." He passed a glance by Akega, Raka and Amethyst to gauge what they felt about this turn of events. Though a small voice in the back of Mermydon's mind was wondering if he hadn't just placed himself unfer Hallenjax house arrest.

Raka was more than aware of his position in the group at the moment, what with his loyalties in question and his rather unbelievable circumstances. He could tell that now, with the arrival of Undyne their group had grown to a considerable size and that speaking privately was likely no longer an option. Letting out a small sigh, Raka gathered all his confidence and bolstered his stature before speaking.

"I think it best that I address certain concerns before we depart." His voice was louder and clearer than everyone else's, making it quite clear that he was speaking to the group as a whole.
"First of all, it is clear that those of us from Hallenjax have not all arrived here under the same circumstances. That is to say, that myself in particular seem to be an outlier as I am the only one out of us whom has aged since my time in Hallenjax." Raka paused for a moment to be sure all were listening, and then turned to face Mermydon.

"You do not trust me, you and I both know this to be true and no amount of friendly chatter can change this matter. To be frank with you... I am not certain myself whether or not I can be trusted. I have power that I do not understand, my memories are unclear, and furthermore I am descended from the mermin school. With all this said, I would prefer that I maintain some distance from the rest of you for the time being."
Raka turned his gaze to Akega then. "Akega, if I do anything that strikes you as out of character or even remotely suspicious... do not hesitate to cast me out."

With everything said that needed to be said, Raka waited for the tension to loosen some and for the group to respond to what he had asked of them.

Amara made her way to the steep cliff side that was parallel to the falls feeling the winged Vixen and her cub approach " If you need a rest along the way please inform me" she said before leaping up onto the first slate slab, her paws leaving small circles of moss where ever she stepped. she was making good time until she reached the Rocks that were much more wet the she moved much slower having to tie her jumps perfectly

kanakwella nodded for undyne to come with them so they could all catch up

heroine watched amara "I may be ancient but im full of energy!" she said "maybe the little one would be too..." she continued she pushed jaxion into the water with her tail "swim my pretty!" (sorry XD)

akega was going to follow them as well he didn't trust mermydon that much considering he came from the blood of the mermian who started the war

Undyne watched him and the princess acting as her part in the story writen on the walls then put her head down remembering the part about a great battle "Undyne the undying.... if this young warrior would to ever die she won't give up..." she said remembering her part in the tale

Mermydon

Raka's words were on target, Mermydon had made it quite clear for his reasons to not trust Raka based upon his lineage and what the emblems on his armor represented to Shaledonians throughout the lake. However, his conduct was totally unlike any Mermian guard steed in Ariel's army. Thus far, his words held true, there were no signs that he had alerted the mermen to the presence of the Shaldonian prince; despite him being a fugitive from Ariel's stronghold. His devotion to Amethyst and Akega appeared genuine and was reciprocated by them. In fact justice, dictated that the weight of evidence was in favor of Raka's innocence over Mermydon's personal fear. However Raka's willingness to keep his distance could play for either side. While it would keep distance from them spatting at one another, it also would give Raka some much needed space to leave a trail for the Mermian Royal Guard to follow and capture them all. "My position might not seem fair Raka. And you are right to call me on this matter. I've no love for the Mermian Royal Guard. That said, you have proven that you are more noble than any other member of that group that I have ever encountered. We have fought valiantly side-by-side and other than your coat of arma I can think of no other reason why I wouldn't want you beside me on a field of combat. However, I cannot allow you to travel behind us alone, the risk or temptation to leave a marked trail is a great risk. But if you will permit, allow Aleria Swifthorn to accompany you and Amethyst as a rear guard for the time being. I trust her judgement and she can observe you without being too nosy." He suggested with a little smile. Then, looking at the others he went ahead and initiated their next action. "Now let us be off, Mares of Hallenjax, the climb up the cascade will take the better part of the day for the uninitiated." He warned them. "And our land-dwelling allies may start to wonder what has become of us?" He added as an after thought.

Raka couldn't help but feel relieved at Mermydon's words in regards to his relations to the group. "I thank you for understanding. I will accept your proposal should the mares be in agreement as well." With this Raka moved slightly closer to Amethyst and gave her a small smile before returning his gaze to Mermydon. "I'll be honest though, I do indeed have an alterior motive for keeping my distance. To tell the truth I'm not too fond of large groups, not to mention that my role with my old herd was always to serve as lookout and rear guard anyways."

Raka knew full well that he and Aleria would serve as the most effective scouts, with her being the most maneuverable in the water without the burden of large unfurling fins, and him having essentially been bred especially for such a purpose. Raka was after all the second largest of their group, second only to Akega whom equaled him in height and length but was far more heavily muscled.

Amara was a bit more focused on their surrounding's but spoke up concerning the pup " swimming up the falls is not a smart option for us, we would do us and the group better if we stayed a little ahead to scout the area." Though her words were not meant to be authoritative they somehow sounded that way, but over all she seemed too focused on not falling 200 ft to her death to be outwardly dominate in anyway. After all Heroine definitely had the flying advantage

Akega took his fin off undyne and allowed her to go with them safely he knew he was to follow as well but still.... he gave mermydon the death stare telling him 'im watching you.' in quote to not do anything funny like call up his guards and 'faint' everyone in the area
Kanakwella got off of mermydon and watched her cousin from afar seeing if they would make a safe trip she watched more and seen heroine flying down with jaxion on her back "i think he's more kelparie than zolnixi." she said holding him up to kanakwella trying not to touch the water
Jaxion looked at the strange creature "k-kelipoire....?" he said his first words but they weren't exactly correct he felt kanakwella's fin go around him and hissed a fin on his back stood up it made heroine more interested in what he was seeing most zolnixi's don't like water she left them and went back up with amara "there now jaxion will be fine."
Undyne looked at mermydon "im ready to go whenever you and everyone else is sir!" she said waiting like any royal guard would not moving at all and waiting patiently

Mermydon

He gave one last look around at everyone. From Raka and the mares readying at the rear guard to Kanakwella playfully teasing the hybrid zolnixi, then at last viewing Akega and Undyne. He wasn't sure if the Hallenjax prince was more concerned about his bride to be or his dear sister. But he chalked it up to a concern for his people; just like Mermydon would do himself. Satisfied that everyone was ready he began swimming towards the massive waterfall and illuminating its egress. "Stay close to me princess." He told Kanakwella, "T'would be better for me to help you up rather than take the ladder. I'm sure the company will be more friendly as well." He told her with a smile. Once he reassured his betrothed he looked to the prince and his royal captain. "You'll need to exert all your strength into your tail, rather than trying to push the water. Let it's flow direct you to the eddie between the water sheets. If you get tired, there are some shallow pools behind the cascade you can try to make it into for rest. But you will lose a lot of momentum and elevation when you try to get back into the water. I don't recommend using the pools unless you must, if you fall into them rather than slide into them you will get hurt by the bedrock." He looked back to Raka noticing how his muscle tone in his tail didn't seem built so much for water. "Raka you may want to get out and let Amara guide you up. I mean no offense, but Amethyst and Aleria would, or Akega and I would, need to help you up the falls with a mighty exertion." He braced himself for a tongue lashing from Raka, Akega or Undyne at any moment. But he took not of how much progress the zolnixi had made.
