Hark you namer of all things cute and fluffy. Names elude me most of the time but you seem to always have a way with them.
I did however try to research a little bit on dragons known and not well known, with a little added on here or there.

Puff's Magic Dragon (Pete's Magic Dragon - it harkens back to an old Disney movie I loved as a child - goes with magic and dragons and old-timeyness :P)

So, to make sure I'm understanding you, Esylana--"Jackie the Dragon's Friend" and "Anemone of Honali" are both plays on the song lyrics?
And if so, how can I make this into an entire naming theme or pattern? I managed to come up with "Fancy Stuff Puff" and "Sea Puff's Tail," but then couldn't think of any more. And I'm hoping to eventually have more than 5 SA Puffs.

Theme: titles or slightly modified titles of songs or albums by the group Peter, Paul and Mary
so I would name it Mockingbird (or, The King of Names, which is actually a song by them and kind of funny, considering!)
but other names (some of them sound more female which you could use for other pets later on) could be:
Leatherwing Bat
Love City
Tramp on the Street
Rich Poor Man
Jane
Polly Von
Pretty Mary
etc

Well, I'm not entirely a sports person... Not entirely, but when I saw you were looking for a theme name for all your SA Puffs, Dragon the Magic Puff made me think of Stuff the Magic Dragon, Orlando Magic's Mascot... Not sure if you like Mascots or Sports, but maybe you could go for a sportish theme...? Or maybe just a mascot theme since theres also computer gaming mascots...? not sure which you will like, but here's a few that I thought could work for the little pup ^-^

Yes, they both play off the song lyrics.
And on that note, I believe it's possible to continue that trend of themes with the song lyrics.
For example:
Magic the Paper Dragon (Jackie Paper is the full name of the Puff's friend in the song)
Paper the Magic Puff
Frolic the Magic Puff
Autumn Mist

If you'd prefer a different theme than using the song, then I can brainstorm on dragons and magic in general, though there seem to be a lot of great ideas around that already here, too. ^_^
Edit: Honali is the name of the land the two friends play and frolic in in the song. :3 Just a note. ^_^
