Edit: Contest is over, but please proceed to Post #22 to vote on which winning name I should accept!

OK, so I tend to use a theme when naming all my pets who have the same Theme. For just one example, all my modern Cave Dweller Faeloras are named after real caves that have famous or important cave paintings in them: Altamira, El Castillo, Lascaux, Niaux, and Pettakere. I can give future modern CD Faeloras names like Chauvet, Desinsova, Isturitz, Laas Geel, Le Placard, Oxocelhaya, or Pech Merle.

The theme for each Theme doesn't need to have something to do with the Theme's name. My modern Summer Sunrise Lunemaras have names that are types of musical compositions: Cantata, Nocturne, Rhapsody, Threnody, etc.

However, I wasn't thinking about themes for the Theme when I named my Sea Anemone Puffadore--

This is Dragon the Magic Puff. It's a cute name, but now I have a second SA Puff to name--

That would be me.

(Feel free to nurture the little fluffball, BTW.) Anyhow, I have no idea what to name him that would work with the name "Dragon the Magic Puff." Oh, here's what he'll look like as an adult--

So the contest is to name the puppy in a way that establishes a naming theme with "Dragon the Magic Puff." The contest will run until someone suggests a name and I react by saying "That's it!" Tell me in what way this name establishes a pattern for naming all my SA Puffs, just in case it isn't obvious.

The winner will receive a Perfume of Themed Attraction. Yeah, it would be cheaper for me to just buy a Philter of Amnesia, decide on a naming theme, and change Dragon's name to fit it, but this way is more fun. Ping me when you post, suggest as many names as you like, as many times as you like, and try not to suggest names that someone else has already suggested. If multiple people suggest the winning name, the first person to suggest it gets the Perfume. Also, to show me that you read all these instructions, use any one of these three words someplace in your post: hark, nectar, or scintilla. Otherwise your entry is not valid.

Hark! 'Tis song lyrics!

Future names:
Honali's Autumn Mist
Little Paper Jackie
Wings and Rings
Green Scale Rain
Cherryless Lane

All names taken from the song, slightly scrambled or altered. Lots of options, lots of ideas.

Good luck, and hope you find a naming scheme you like! ^.^

These are my basic suggestions. I interpreted as that it has to be related to 'Dragon the Magic Puff,' and so I assume that the first word in the name cannot be a made up name (example, Elise, Manon, Celaena, Estiasn, Ayden), because Dragon is not a made up name; it is a type of creature. I decided to keep Puff in for all of them, because that is really just the Puffadore itself. The rest, I switched around with words that corresponded with its type of word.

Minus Dragon

~~~~~~~~~~~
Emperor the Magic Puff
Obsidian the Magic Puff
Fluffy the Magic Puff
Drake the Magic Puff
King the Magic Puff
Sailor the Magic Puff
Midnight the Magic Puff
Slayer the Magic Puff
Wyvern the Magic Puff
Cloud the Magic Puff
Star the Magic Puff
Lilac the Magic Puff
Hero the Magic Puff
Night the Magic Puff
Tempest the Magic Puff
Minus Magic
~~~~~~~~~~~
Dragon the Stormy Puff
Dragon the Midnight Puff
Dragon the Cute Puff
Dragon the Obsidian Puff
Dragon the Lucky Puff
Dragon the Innocent Puff
Dragon the Tempest Puff
Dragon the Soaring Puff
Dragon the Icebound Puff
Dragon the Blue Puff
Dragon the Sky Puff
Dragon the Night Puff
Dragon the Downy Puff
Dragon the Poofy Puff
Dragon the Scary Puff
Dragon the Puff

You can also add the two together, ex.,
Tempest the Stormy Puff

Wyvern the Lucky Puff
Slayer the Sky Puff
Emperor the Soaring Puff
Drake the Innocent Puff
Hero the Obsidian Puff

Hope these suggestions are helpful :)

I would call him Falkor.

Or Falkor the Magic Puff

Or Falkor the Magic Luck

This is based off the luck dragon in the never ending story.

The theme I am going for is dragons; namely dragons in children's literature, or dragons linked with children in some way, or failing that, then the 'odd' (non-typical) variety of dragons in literature or myth. I always imagined puffadores to be very 'Falkor like' for some reason.

Other Name Suggestions

Spyro or Spyro the magic Puff

Good luck finding a theme! - Hark

Perhaps you could call him Argon the Noble Fluff?

Word-ending-in-gon the adjective-based-on-"gon"-word rhymes-with-puff...gives you a theme that incorporates everything from Dragon the Magic Puff to varying degrees. Let me know if I'm just being confusing. ^^

Also scintillating nectar. Because I just have the thought nectar should sparkle for some reason.
