Qitari Gene: Blaze
Description: A row of colour that is decided on by the M1 colourchoise. Its based on a IRL marking horses may have.

Porcelain

It's supposed to look like a cracked poreclain doll/mask

It's supposed to look like below the skin there's an enitre mechanical system.

Griffi: Floral Design

All my designs are finished, but I will have to spend a few minutes editing because my computer is runnign slow and it takes time to download each picture. Here is my first gene for a Qitari

Gene 1 Appaloosa




Gene 1 Common Dolphin (There is always hype about the bottle nosed dolphin. The spotlight rarely falls on some of the lesser known species. The common dolphin has two color variations white and yellow. I used Yellow for this design.




Gene 2 Coral snake



Gene 1 Himalayan (We have done many wild cats and a few domestic, but never any of the fluffier variety. I always thought the Himalayan looked rather pretty. Can also be used for gene 2)



Gene 1Peregrine falcon (We have done several other fierce birds so I thought that this was only fitting.



Gene 2 Ribbon Runes (I thought this species could use a nice elegant look)



Gene 1 Ring necked pheasant (I thought this would be a nice addition)



Gene 1 Ring tailed cat. ( Sort of like a cross between a racoon and a weasel. Common in the southwest.Very shy and swee,t also called a miners cat. Miners used to keep them as pets to keep the camp free of rodents. I think this looks incredibly charming on our Zolnixi model.)



Gene 1 Skunk stripes (I thought this one was adorable)



Gene 3 swirl runes (Last but not least our aeridini. I was aiming to do something that looked a little different from usual.)

I've seen a few others do it, so I'm re-posting these from the last design contest, because I loved my entries, my Camo Draeyl specifically XD I may still try and come up with new genes if I have time :)

Timber Rattlesnake Aeridini - based on the Timber Rattlesnake because I love the pattern :)


Camo Draeyl - Draeyl are fearsome creatures, so I felt like they deserved some camouflage :D This gene would use the gene color, the eye color, and then color 3.


Ice Shard Runes Vulnyx - I started out making snowflakes, but in the end I think they look like diamonds/ice shards...


Red Fox Zolnixi - originally I was just going to make socks for the Zolnixi, but I love the markings on Red Foxes, so I added in the tail stripe and ear tips :) If it's too similar to an existing gene, the tail stripe and ear tips can always go away so it's just the 'socks'


Hieroglyphic Runes Ryori - I saw someone submit an Egyptian themed mutation for the Ryori so it got me thinking that they should have runes that look like hieroglyphics :D I tried to make it look like the runes were glowing, but I don't think it worked...

Here are my entries for the Fall Festival 2015 Gene design. I hope everyone had as much fun designing genes as I did! :)


Draeyl:

I call this gene, Thunder Lizard. Lightening bolt designs course throughout the Draeyl's body. I pictured a glowing effect on the inner lightening bolt.


Ryori:

I call this gene, Aurora Runes. Aurora Borealis designs are all over the Ryori's body. Some may even have a glowing effect!


Vulnyx:

I call this gene Celestial Starfire Runes. The flame on the chest has a star in it, and all the dots and stars would have a glowing effect.
