Hello!~

This is absolutely not a priority suggestion what with the Megazone and Fall Fest and everything else kicking off but I had an idea and I think it might be a super cute feature that could be implemented once the site is out of beta?

I'd love it if we could purchase gift boxes (for gold preferably - or maybe a scale shop item? Nurturing and gifting are pretty closely linked) that we could put items from our inventory inside, and then send it to our friends. They could work like Chests/Containers so the user has no idea what's inside until they open it in the inventory. We could call them Gift Satchels to tie in with the Sylestia storyline theme.

I know I love gifting as it is but it'd be amazing to be able to send multiple items in one box - or, if that's not feasible, to at least make it so that the person I'm gifting doesn't know what they've gotten until they open the Satchel in their inventory. This would make birthdays and christmases fantastic as we'd be able to genuinely surprise our friends without having to do the "oh no goodness me I can't possibly accept this" as some of us do when we see expensive items in our Player Trades as gifts from friends ;P

This would also be very useful for those of us who run giveaways and award multiple item prizes - I would gladly spend the extra gold/scales to be able to send all my items in one go rather than have to send multiple trades and get multiple notifications that they've been accepted.

I would ask that the Satchels in this scenario not be too expensive. They would work as a gold/scale sink (i.e. disappearing after use/one use to stimulate people parting with scales and gold etc) but mainly they'd be a great social feature on the game so making them crazy expensive would make them inaccessible to newer users who might like to gift their friends.

Oh god this is so long I apologise for the essay

I think this is an absolutely adorable idea and it would add an extra layer of delight to the gifts friends give because you don't know exactly what it is. It's like with Christmas; even if you know what the gift is going to be, that doesn't take away the fun of opening it.

I second this idea! I mean, who doesn't like getting surprises! Lavelle, this is a wonderful idea you've come up with and would add an extra layer of fun to Sylestia. Definitely not a top priority, but a great little feature that would add more character to the game. :)

Definitely throwing in my support on this. I can't count the number of times I have run into the 'oh, I can't possibly accept this! Take it back!' both on my own behalf, and that of my friends. With a gift satchel that will turn into. 'oh wow! You shouldn't have sent that!!! Thank you!' lol. Totally love the idea ^.^

What a cute idea~ c:

Maybe little add on options like a place for adding a cute message/greeting, or an option to keep it anonymous? ^^
I'd love to send customized satchel/packages to peeps. Or anonymous ones, since there may be people who like to be secret Santas at any time of year aha.

I love this idea. It's so cute! I also like Flute's suggestions of being able to optionally make it anonymous or the ability to leave a little message.

I love this idea! And maybe there could be a time capsule option where the gift box isn't openable until a specific date. (And perhaps a pet gift box, too)
