Woohoo! Well, wasn't that exciting everyone?! :P Nothing like some crazy downtime to get the heart pumping! Lol.
Alright, so I'm pinging everyone just to remind you all about the contest, get it back fresh on everyone's mind. The list of Turned In designs has been updated completely since I was finally able to get the messages I did NOT get to before the site crashed. We did lose a day, but I think everyone still has plenty of time to finish which leads me to my next question for ALL of the contestants...
Do you guys think we should start voting rounds as soon as all entries are in? Some people have asked if they can resubmit their designs before the deadline, but my personal feeling is that once everyone has turned in an entry there isn't a lot of point in waiting. I know the Summer Festival is going to be run later this year than it was last year, but I'd still hate for the last few rounds to conflict with the Festival, so the quicker we get these rounds done the better. I'm asking you, the contestants, because this effects you more than it effects me.
Let me know what you all think and in the meantime everyone keep having fun and turning in your designs if you haven't already! :)

I think, once everyones done and submitted, we should start the blind votings.

I reckon we should start voting straight after all submissions are in too.
Also, would we be able to get a little more time to submit? Maybe a week? Just because school has started for me and it's really hard to find time to do a proper design as i get a fair amount of homework to do each night.

I'd say that once everyone has something submitted, give a final call for 24 hours for any changes or updates, and THEN get things rolling for votes.
That would give everyone a fair chance to make changes if they so choose.
When that 24 hour "Last Call" is over, start the voting rounds with the most recent submissions.
I definitely don't see a point in waiting for the Deadline itself to expire. I think it'd be more useful as a disqualifier if a contestant was to vanish for a few days and never make a submission. :)

I'd say a 24 hour last call works great!
