Alright, 24 Hour call sounds good to me, too. We're waiting on 5 people's designs, so I'll wait until tomorrow, and send some messages to those people who haven't turned a design in. Opinions are still welcome, I know not everyone has had a chance to put their two cents in, so feel free to still discuss it, but I think the 24 Hour idea is a good one. Thanks everyone! :)

2.) There will be a total of 10 rounds to this competition. There will be two people eliminated each round for Rounds 1-8. These eliminations will be based off of the voting rounds. The two designs with the least amount of votes will be eliminated. In the event of a tie, a 24 hour Sudden Death vote will be started, and the two designs in a tie will be voted on by the public again.
But what if all the votes go only to 1 or 2 of the designs only?

I'm hoping that that will be fairly unlikely. I plan on advertising for voting in the General Discussion forum as well, and you all will be able to encourage people to vote, though of course I'm going to have to trust that you don't tell anyone which design is your's.
I did touch upon what happens in the event of ties in one of my rules, so we would just have to do a Sudden Death round of voting. I'm also probably going to tell people who vote to vote for their TWO favorites designs, instead of just one, just to generate more numbers and variety, and because we have so many designs in these first rounds. Once we get to some of the final rounds, meaning less entries, I'll bump it back down to one vote.
All of the designs I've seen so far are really well done, so I don't think this is a problem we're going to run into, however I am glad that you asked. In the event it does happen that way, I'm sure that we'll weather through it. :)

The next season will be held some time shortly after the end of the Summer Festival. I can't be more specific than that since we don't know when the Festival is going to start yet. I already have a list going of people who wanted to be a part of this season and missed the sign-ups so I'll add you to the list. :)
As for the voting, I'll be making the voting thread either late Saturday night, or Sunday morning. I'm still waiting for a few entries and the deadline is Saturday at 10PM. I'm sure I speak for myself and the contestants when I say thank you for your interest in voting. ^.^

24 Hour Last Chance Call!
Technically I waited a little past the 24 hours because I was working on something and couldn't post, but this is everyone's last chance call. Anyone who wishes to resubmit their design or has not yet turned one in needs to do so before 10PM site time tomorrow. I would also like everyone to read what I have to say below.
We are currently waiting on 3 people to turn their designs in, and I hope that they are all able to get entries turned in by the deadline. However, if 2 or more of them do not that would technically mean that a voting round is unnecessary, since they'll be disqualified and that will count for our two eliminated contestants. Now, I could simply move on to the next round, but I would hate for those of you who did turn in designs not to get to show them to the world, so what I want to do is have a very brief voting period of about 2 days so everyone can see what the public thinks about their designs and the person who gets the most votes can still have bragging rights. If anyone has a problem with this you are free to say so, but I think this is the best plan of action if we don't get enough entries turned in. Thank you once again to everyone participating. I'm really excited about tomorrow either way. :)

I think that's a great idea! It would be nice for people to see the designs and for us designers to see how we can improve :)
