Sorry if this is a dumb question, but will the hired stablehand feed each stable for the price or do we have to hire once for each individual stable?

It's for all Stables.

My stable hand slot still says 'none' even though I've hired one. It's not a big deal, she's hired, but I'm just wondering why it's not showing up.

Feeding has been in the game since the beginning. It's been disabled for a month or so now while we upgraded to a new (and much better) system for feeding pets.

The foundation of it is yes, partial money sink, but also to make pets more valuable. If players are allowed to keep thousands of pets with no reason to think twice, it's overall bad for the game and the pet economy.

Feeding is one of many ways that keep each individual pet valuable and meaningful. We will also be adding more ways over the next few months to further aid in this goal.

Down the road, especially when crafting is released, feeding will also offer benefits beyond just keeping pets from falling unconscious.

Okay, I was going to leave it at that, but this has been bugging me- could you explain to me how this increases the value of pets?

The more effort, time, and resources that go into each pet, the more valuable it will be.

Doesn't that already happen? And wouldn't it be more effective to have a breeding fee instead? Otherwise, all I see coming of this is a ton of starved or released pets because it's cheaper than having to feed them.

There will be a few more things we'll be implementing to help improve the pet economy. A base breeding fee is one of them that we're contemplating.

On top of the feeding bit? Really? That's just infuriating. I mean I've already decided not to feed my pets at this point and let them starve. I want more than my current 59 pets and I surely plan to add more-the feeding fee is not increasing their value at all to me to stick with a small collection-it's just decreasing the value of the feature.

If my pet does fall unconscious-there's free revival potions available in game. If I need that specific pet to breed with-I pay by the day I need it. 25g(if that fee is still accurate) on the day my pet should be available to breed for one hunger point and then let them starve again? Waaaaaaaaaay easier and cheaper than paying over 2k a day to make sure they never go hungry or MERCY ME prices to save them from starvation. I would gladly pay a breeding fee over a hunger AND breeding fee or a hunger fee in general but this certainly is missing the mark of "adding value".

Maybe when you release the new features regarding how it /should/ be adding value it might be worth some gold...but as a person who's completely removed themselves from battling and the main storyline to focus solely on pet collecting, breeding, and in game trading-this is just a hassle of a feature and a displeasure to deal with.

Seriously people need to stop complaining when Krin and Fai bring out a new (or re-released feature) Feeding has always been a part of the game, It is not mandatory to feed pets, they can starve if you do not want to pay the feeding costs. However, think of it like a real life deal. You wouldn't own a dog and not feed it and still expect it to play? So those pets who are starved are, I believe, unable to breed and cannot fight/do missions.

We have known for ages that feeding would be re-implemented for ages. Each time Krin makes an update he said that feeding would be sorted soon.

I am not so keen on the idea of a breeding fee, however I do understand why Krin and Fai would implement it.

I like the idea of hiring someone to feed pets while you go away. I was a bit nervous to go away for a few days without having something to feed my stables.
