I like the Stablehand idea for if I were to be away from the 'net for a bit of time. It doesn't happen often (even when Hurricane Sandy blew out our power I still went to a place that actually had WiFi) but if something were to happen then it would be a great help.

How do we create our own stable hand for diamonds?

Feeding has been in the game since the beginning. It's been disabled for a month or so now while we upgraded to a new (and much better) system for feeding pets.

The foundation of it is yes, partial money sink, but also to make pets more valuable. If players are allowed to keep thousands of pets with no reason to think twice, it's overall bad for the game and the pet economy.

Feeding is one of many ways that keep each individual pet valuable and meaningful. We will also be adding more ways over the next few months to further aid in this goal.

Down the road, especially when crafting is released, feeding will also offer benefits beyond just keeping pets from falling unconscious.

Krin, about that 4-12 week option...is that supposed to be diamonds only? Because it's showing up with an option to pay with gold as well...

It's both. You still have to pay the Stablehand's wage and then a Diamond charge for using the extended lengths.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but will the hired stablehand feed each stable for the price or do we have to hire once for each individual stable?

I think you only hire her once. When I go to my other stables and click on my avatar, it shows that the stable hand is hired and I don't see an option to hire again..
