"Ugh. Sunglight." Night shivered.

"Anyone know where the lirbary is?"


"No books on mechanics in there."

"Darn, those are the best."

"Agreed. Just a bunch of novels by the noring authors."

"Such ss?"

"Some random proffesosr dudes. I couslnt even find Hawhornes The Scarlet Letter."

"No one shelves it in theright place thats probably why you coildnt find it."

"I agree. It's just not the same here, is it? Even if you find pines and maples and bushes full of berries, they're all so perfect that you can't ever believe they are yours." Mrs. Mouse felt the same about a room full of live oaks that she once spent days lying beneath. They looked just the same as the trees she remembered from her childhood, but the more she stared at them, the more she realized the differences and couldn't stand them. "The only real solution is to find our way out. The door is one of the few things in this place that doesn't look like nature...but without a doubt, it looks alive."

"Why would you want to find a library? I suppose unless whoever trapped us here left a book of histories and maps!" Jay laughed a bit at that. It would be a bit too lucky for the enemy to leave maps laying about, but it would be a very good sort of luck. "If you don't like sunlight, we can wait until dark if we do find a way outside."

"Let's go find that door then Mrs. Mouse," Scarlet starts looking around the walls. She misses her home in the forest seeing her other animal friends especially one red fox.

"Whats workg witht he library? There was this one chinese emporer who literally had a lubray made and then here was the one in Alexandria..." Loki started to ramble.

Night narrowed his eyes. "Have i heard the speech before? Becuase it soudns very fmailiar."

Loki stopped. "Wait, what?"

"Just he fact that my brother had that exact sam-wait a moemnt.....WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING HERE!?! YOURE SUPPOSWD TO BE IN CMABRIDGE STUDYUBG PHILOSOPHY!!!"

"...Nice to see you too Nic. And i asume youre here because someone in the CIA or FBI kicked you down a hole in he file cabinets."

Grey shrugged. "I don't think I mind libraries...as long as they are about knights, ninja's and what not." She stuck out her tongue as she thought about that, taking back what she just said. She just like learning about mid-evil goings-on. It was actually quite interesting what they would fight over.

Hunter cocked his head. "So...you're brothers? Family at the least?"

"Yes. Unfoetuanteky."

"Yeah were twins."

"Can yiu pelase stop blabbing personalminfo?

"No because you do the same."

"Do not."

"Do too."

"Not."

"Too."

"Oh dear, this is getting quite complicated..." Jay murmured under his breath. One set of twins for sure, and he still found Grey and Hunter interesting. This only seemed to prove that people close in one world were drawn together in this one as well. He wondered if anyone important to him would ever show up, but then, he supposed he would have to have someone like that. "Does this mean we really are going to check out the library?"

Mrs. Mouse continued down the long hall that echoed with the sound of their footsteps. Moss grew toward the walls, but otherwise, it was very empty. She couldn't remember a hall like this, but the Menagerie always adapted to the animals it housed, always grew and changed. "So eerie. Makes you wonder what kind of person would build such a place..."

"Yes"

"No"

Jay sighed yet again. "I see that question got us nowhere. I suppose I'll make the decision then. If we do find a library, we'll definitely take a look around. But until then, we'll look for a proper way out of this place, okay? And no more arguing, you two!" he added with a stern look at Loki and Night.

"ALright.." THey glared at each other. "Actually yes. No. Hey stop stayig what i'm saying!" More arguing.
