"They are easy prey to be sure." He replied, "Though you did make off with one on your back and made no effort to drown her. As for the apparition, you definitely denied her from the sylvorpa and managed to get yourself into a pickle. So you may understand my curiosity and amusement." He let the words play in her ears as he swam towards her, then rolled under, around to the other side, then behind her as his body floated upwards, her mouth got closer and closer to her ear. "So, my final offer, would you like me to escort you home and help you cache your larder with the over-dwellers?"

Mwindo ~~ male ~~ In the dessert ~~ packless ~~ adult

The sandcoloured nixi were slowly dragging its pray through the dessert. The hunter itself did not stand out to much. but the prey in its mouth did so. Its brightgreen and crystal blue feathers shining brightly in the sun and standing out like a soar thumb. It took some time for him but once he reached the small cavessytem he quickly walked in. As he enterd the cavern entrance the air changed as with the swing of a wand. While still hot it was a lot cooler inside of it, a bit further in to it he could hear the faint sound of water pooring out from the small spring. When he were laying in the soft sand he panted a bit before licking the muzzle. The tired, overheated and hungry zolnixi gave up a sigh of relife. Safe, for now atleast. Silently he put the nozzle to the bird before taring into it. Just as the razorsharp teeth digged in to the flesh of the dinner, making the bones cracked he saw a unusual beeing outside the cavern. A ... quitari? Nervously he tensed up staring at the hoofed sylesti as it walked over the sand. Without really realizing it he started to show teeth and rais the fur to seem larger. Hooves ... damed hooves!

Diego~Adult: 7 years (25 years in species)~ Canyon in Dessert

The smell of blood was thick in the air. Could it be Red?! His head lefted some as he sniffed about looking for the source of the blood. It seemed to be coming from a small cave to his left. Maybe if he crawled he could take a look inside. It would be much cooler in there anyways, yet what if the predator was still with its kill? Maybe it wasn't Red, yet he had no way of knowing that. He approached the wall and bent some to peer inside. "Hello?" He called still delirious from the knot on his head. "Red?" He felt dizzy suddenly thus he had to stand again. He waited for an answer before sighing and laying in the almost cool shade. "I'll never find her...not in this condition not ever..."

"It would be a good start." He responded as they came face to face.

Her features appeared to match his own in resolve, her beautiful exterior faithfully disguising the heart of a true predator. He could see this as the beginning of a mutually beneficial relationship. Then his musings were disturbed by the growling of his stomach. He looked down and then back at her.

"Mayhaps, you and I should start off by rustling ourselves up a school for breakfast, and bring a little back to your comrades to fatten upon?"

Little Red: aka Red~ Adult: 3 years (20 years in species)~ ?

Water! So much water! The Bulbori squeaked some as it fought against the rapid moving water. Red fought to keep her head up above the water though it proved almost useless. The water of the river filled her lungs as she tried to call out for help yet it was to no avail. The water grew faster as she neared to waterfall that emptied into a sort of lake it seemed. Helplessly she went over the edge of the fall and plummeted into the water below. What way was up? Down? She was tossed and turned on the water for what seemed like an eternity before finally the water calmed. Red exhaustedly pawed at the water pulling herself to the top of the water before dazedly making her way to the shore. Panting and vouching her lay half in the water half out. She was so tired...
