August unfurled his wings and tipped his head forward beckoningly. "Climb aboard then. It isn't too far."

"Thank you, most kind sir," Mrs. Mouse chuckled, as always charmed by the parrot's good manners. If people were half as helpful as he was in the real world, it would be a far better place! "Gray should be able to follow behind us but if the others are not far, there's no time to waste!" With that, she pointed a paw ahead with a little cry of excitement.

Scarlet digs where she is told to. Paws throwing up dirt, sand, rock, and bits of metal. She keeps working until she sees the tunnel, "You're right Jay.''

"Hold on...!" August exclaimed as he unfurled his wings. With a couple of wing beats, he shoved off the ground and took to the air.

"Woah..." It was the only word Jay could think of when he saw what Scarlet had unearthed. Beneath the dirt, a modern structure arced down beneath the rocks. The cool glow of lights and dark stone looked like nothing in the almost Grecian style Menagerie. If the witch hid such a place, it was with good reason. Even Jay found himself hesitating. "...Should we go in?"

Almost as soon as he said the words, a tiny shadow left him looking up again. Rather than a hawk or a new enemy, however, what Jay saw left him crying out with relief. "It's August! And he brought the others!" Almost forgetting about the tunnel, he rushed to meet them, noting with amusement that Mrs. Mouse seemed to be having fun riding atop the parrot.

Without any warning Scarlet leaps down into the structure, "Come on this might be the way out or at least a chance to ask the witch a few questions."

August let out a soft noise that sounded something like a laugh upon hearing Jay's cheer. "We made it!" He almost excitedly told his passenger, circling once before coming in for a landing amoung the small assembly.

"I'm ready to go in if you are." Hunter says before following Jay's gaze and finding his friends. "Hey! You cared to join us finally!" He says cheerfully.
Grey couldn't fly, so she was following on the ground. When she heard her brother, she ran until she was right next to him. "You're safe!" She crows happily, about to give him a big hug before deciding that that would be weird since they were both animals and they didn't really hug. Instead, she nudges him with her snout playfully.

Scarlet smiles, "Yes we did. So what's our next step? And when do you think we'll get out of here?"

Jay circled around August, then landed on Gray's shoulder for a second before finally dropping down in front of Mrs. Mouse to give her a greeting as well. "It really has been a while since we were altogether. I was beginning to thing we wouldn't see each other again, but like Hunter said, it's about time!" he chuckled. Turning back to hop toward the strange tunnel's entrance, he hesitated once again. "We should go in. Shouldn't we?"

Mrs. Mouse lopped over to poke her nose inside. "I think we should. Scarlet is right. This is too big of a chance to pass up. We can talk about everything we've found out as we walk. Now, who wants to lead the way?" She may have already put two paws into the hallway, but with her tiny-sized steps and the narrowness of the entrance, it was best to formulate a smart line.
