~Alciel~Near Kresh~

It had been two weeks since he had left the decimated rubble that was his home, and one week since he had parted from his traveling party. They had been two days north-east of the capital when he had informed them that he wished to split up and reconvene south of the gates in two weeks time.
There had been many objections on the part of Midas* and Veler* in particular, but in the end they conceded. Alciel felt guilty for leaving them without explaining himself but it was necessary, they would be too conspicuous as a group. By himself Alciel could occasionally pass as mortal since his corruptions weren't too severe, but all eight of them were bound to arouse suspicion.

Appearance

Alciel had left his armour with the others, and so was dressed only in his basic clothes and shroud. The only strange thing about his appearance was the presence of his horns, a trait usually accompanied by fur or a tail or even hooves none of which he had. He had the look of a wandering battlemage so he often explained them away as a curse or a spell gone wrong.

Alciel walked through the woods a little ways off the path, enjoying the crisp cool air while not making too much effort to disguise his presence. He would be in Kresh in less than two hours, he wondered to himself what the village might be like now. He wondered if anyone would recognize him. There was a lot to anticipate upon his arrival.

Silas (Marcurio)-

As he left the cave he sighed taking but a moment to look back at it. Did he really want to follow these people? What if they got him into more trouble than he was already in? Would it matter? In death atleast he would be back with his family. When one thought like that it was but a grim outlook on life. It usually required a breaking point to think of death like that. Maybe he had hit that breaking point.

Kayla~

A line traveler to her stretch of road? How fortunate. With a slight smile she followed the man from up in the trees keeping sure not to make any sound as she did. He didn't seem like he had anything on him save for his clothes but that was still something to sell to fetch a few coins. Now all she needed was to wait for the right moment to strike.

As Holly scaled though the tees without making a sound her ears rotated to movement just a little ways off the path they were traveling the day before... Perfect maybe a meal! she thought as she made her way in that direction only to come to a halt at the sight of a stranger prowling about the forest floor. she did well to keep her presence hidden as she observe him from the canopy getting ever closer with her silent weightless steeps. He was quite simple all for the horns about his head, though he wasn't one of her kind lacking a complimenting feature... so what, and who was he?... a question that often brought trouble with it, after all being a curious cat caries its risks, but she hadn't died yet. She perched herself on a branch in a tree just behind him so that she was completely visible, but could move easily. " Hey.." Her voice was soft and non threatening as she spoke, after all if it came to a fight she would surely lose, but she wouldent be satisfied with jut stalking him, besides the others would possibly get irritated with her absence.

~Alciel~

Alciel was fully aware of the two women following him but chose not to show it. When one of them decided to say something however he thought it would be best to respond.
"Hello there miss." he said as he turned his face towards her voice.
His voice was mellow and soft but undoubtedly masculine and not at all melodical.

It had been quite some time since he had conversed with any mortal in such a casual way. Looking at this woman, or perhaps it would be more accurate to call her a girl, he found himself comparing her to Midas whom was the only felis he had ever known. Their fur was roughly the same colour but that was where the similarities ended.

She flicked her ears and jumped down from her perch landing on the ground without a sound not even rustling the leave beneath her feet. It was strange his voice showed not even the slightest hint of surprise. It was possible he knew she was there all along, or she wasn't the only one.... either way she decided that he wasn't of immediate danger. "Where Ya headed?" she asked in a piping tone of a curious child. as she walked a little closer.

Kayla~

She stopped suddenly just a few paces behind the man. He had stopped...and there was a woman. One was hard enough to catch of guard but two? That was asking something completely different. Maybe she should show herself as well...no that was stupid. A thief never gives up their hinding spot even for the prize. So she sat watching and waiting for a moment to strike them both down. Maybe a poison dart? Or even a nice air assassination so she would already be on the ground when she finished them off. For now it was better just to wait.

~Alciel~

Alciel smiled at the girl as she approached. "I am headed for Kresh."
He thought to himself that this girl seemed rather smart, but obviously not learned enough to recognize a demon. He was unarmed and unaccompanied so it was natural to think him to be of no threat, if only that were true.

She stood up a bit straighter at his answer " Same here, if you don't mind me asking what are you?" she felt a bit rude for asking, but she wanted to know his presence was particularly strange, something she had never encountered before and something she wanted to know for future reference.... besides if he lied to her she would know, and could just figure it out latter " Sorry, Its just you don't smell like the others" she said tilting her head a bit her ears scanning the surrounding area non-nonchalantly.

Kayla~

If there was one thing she hated more than empty pockets it was small talk. Why? If your going to talk to someone then just do it, don't just beat around the bush and ask a bunch of stupid questions! Grimacing a bit she krept forward. If they weren't going to get on with it then she would just have to kill them. Positioning herself above the man, she readied the blade that she carried. The girl took a breath knowing one false move and she was going to have to run for it. Three...two...one. Silently she fell from the tree, seemingly landing where she meant to.
