Storm

Storms tail lashed left and right as he bit his tongue. He had to keep his temper in check, this wasn't about him but his pack, he glanced around at the pack members he had brought with him. They were scrawny and small in number.

Mist

Mist padded over nervously. "Guys come on can't we just get along? There is no way we're going to live in price if we keep growling at each other." Mist said hopefully. She looked pointedly at storm. "Storm, I'm sure alpha meant no offense in what he said." She then turned to you in a way storm couldn't see her face. "And alpha maby you could be a tad more considerate?" She said with a 'sorry please don't kill or contradict me' face.

Storm

Storm seemed to calm down quite a bit his fur flattening he cleared his voice. "Um...yes. Sorry about that. Sometimes my temper does tend to get away from me." He said chuckling nervously and sitting down once again.

Eci's silky smooth voice rang above most others. "And where do you think you're going, darling?" She said with amusement as she looked at the female. "If you plan to steal their food, you'll have two whole packs tracking you down." She said as she dropped from the branch. Landing easily on her paws, she looked at the female. Tired, starved, and just like the other dog she had seen. She smiled, and dug at the ground. In a second, she gave the female a buried egg. "Enjoy" She said as she disappeared into the undergrowth.

Sasha~female~ Her den near Firepack

The female tensed up teeth barred at the sudden voice. For her and her pups sake she had to stand strong even if she was tired. At the offer of food she refused instead lowed her head and growled some. She had to get away. Carefully she backed away but upon stepping she stepped on her injured back paw wrong causing her to help in pain. No no it could start bleeding again! It had been so hard to get it to stop last time! Not taking her eyes from the other female she held her foot up as to not step in it again. "Don't call me darling." She warned.

~Dobhar~Firepack~Firepack Camp~

Dobhar turned towards the sound of Eci's voice to see just what was so important. He was surprised to see a new dog, a female. And she was pregnant.
Despite his interest in the newcomer he had much more pressing business to attend to.
"I suggest you take her advice, this place isn't safe for an expectant mother. Those pups are valuable, keep them alive."

He said this all half over his shoulder as he turned back to face Storm.

"Oh? I'm getting orders from a pregnant, wounded dog?" Eci replied with a snort.

Sasha~female~Firepack

"Just because I'm a bit hampered doesn't mean I'm lame." She again warned. All she wanted was a bit of food! They had a whole deer for crying out loud! A simple bone would work even. Sasha limped back keeping her eyes on the others as she turned to leave.
Kodi watched her leave before looking to Juniper. "I can't let her just leave like that..." He said to the smaller dog.
"What are we going to do then?" Juniper barked cocking her head to the side.
"We are going to hunt her some prey and leave it for her." Kodi said turning to leave the camp. The small corgi followed.
"Won't the leader get mad that you are giving away food?"
"Not if he doesn't find out."

~Dobhar~Firepack~Firepack Camp~

This had to stop. They though they were being discreet but to Dobhar's keen hearing Kodi and Jiniper's conversation was perfectly audible.
With an exaggerated sigh of frustration Dobhar turned in their direction.

"Enough! This is not the time for this. Kodiak give our visitor that foreleg there and send her on her way. She can make better use of it than we can anyways."

As he said this he caught Sasha's eyes and held there for a moment, his expression still firm. She clearly needed the help and in all honesty he was quite sympathetic to her situation. But now was not the time.
He almost envied the other dogs, they didn't have his responsibilities. They could afford to be kind to a stranger.

Storm

Surprisingly enough storm was not angry at once again being ignored for a loner, but looked quite content starring mist into submission while your attention was diverted.

Kodi~male~Firepack

His Yelp could have been heard for miles. Trembling at the sound of his name being called the male coward. "Yes alpha." He said low crawling towards the deer. The leg tasted sweet in his quivering jaws though he knew not to take a bite of it. The she dog needed it more than he. Still cowaring he followed her. Clearly she was in pain, both from hunger, her leg, and the pups she carried. Her den wasn't much either, just a half buried tree trunk with a few leaves and miss inside it. This was when she noticed him. Her growls sent him in a panic and he coward down more. Seeing this she stopped.
"You don't have to help you know." The female said still standing her ground. This large male seemed to be cowardly though she knew that not everyone was what they seemed.
"The alpha said for me to..." Kodi whimpered dropping the leg even though his own mouth was watering. She couldn't say no to that.
"So you got a name?"
"Kodi."
"Well Kodi, I'm Sasha. Now if you will forget I'm here. If there is one thing in life I hate its charity." With that she slipped inside her den without another word leaving the male to his own.

Though he hated to throw his weight around like this it was what was needed to keep the situation under control. He had called on Kodiak mostly because he was the best one for the task but, ulterior motives were always in play when you were the alpha. It was important that the waterpack dogs knew exactly who was the boss here and having a big brutish looking dog like Kodi as a subordinate would help get the message across. Even if it did feel a little cheap.
