They seemed to sense it and slowly the brothers vanish out of sight, letting you on your own in your room. You notice that the air itself seemed less thick after some time and that the colors were a bit more vibrant.

Asside from it, your room felt empty of all presence, maby due to the lack of telepathic activity in the area.

You start feeling that the surface you were laying on had changed it's consistency to a flacky, strigny and vaguely hot one. Some hot flakes of somthing were falling on your skin as you lay there while the sound of creaking wood as well as the stampeeding of tiny paws and hoves echoed all around.

Nicote opened his eyes, mentally prepared to find himself in a stable or something. Not that he'd never been in one but still....

You were greated by the sight of an empty night sky, ashes were dansing around you in the wind falling from the charred trees. Shadows of small animals were passing by between the wooden remain of the forest you were laying on, leaving no visible trail on the thick blanket of still warm cinder covering the land like a grayscale snow.

Nicote blinked, before sitting up properly. This must be one of those spaces the numbers had mentioend.
