Seems like this was a regular and perfectly normal occurrence between them. Letting what happened settle into my mind, if you minus the growling and mental yelling and pretended they were humans arguing instead, it could be somewhat normal in human terms. It would be similar to a person yelling at someone to stop eating all the hot pockets in the freezer. If you described it like that to someone, they might not have guessed it was based on what happened between powerful and mysterious beings. Numbers didn't seem like horrifying monsters or however Terence described them anymore, at least in terms of personality.
I walk over to the number still here, but keep some distance. "What was all of that about?"

They made a soft huffing noise half way between amusement and anoyance. " They got tired of me taking naps in the cold box for some raison... they alwais get anoyed at me for making a mess anyway but it get fixed after some time so it's realy not that big of a deal."
