It was only after he said those words he saw the slight hurt in Riften's face. He... He didn't mean it like that, and felt bad. There wasn't really a way to fix that, so he just moved on.
"The gardens sound lovely, it's a great idea." His body did tense a little at first, but after the split second realization that it was Riften comforting him, he relaxed and smiled a little at the elf.
"I heard they planted new flowers on the upper right corners after the duchess requested them. She's always requesting new flowers for every day of the week." He gave a small laugh, gesturing for Riften to come along down the hall with him.

Luca

Nikko went back to his room with lill but luca stayed out a little longer, she didn't want to be dressed for the ball, so she stayed back in the library reading different books trying to understand there stories. She wasn't the brightest but she did enjoy some of the easier to read books in the library. She knew that she needed to be back in at lest two hours so she wasn't bothered by it. She hid in her corner of the library were she read silently to herself trying to learn as much as she could. Her main goal in life was to get back home and her first try didn't go to well. It left a stinging mark to remind herself to always over estimate her enemies. She read up on the history of the castle maps she found and any other things she could find. She missed her home and her friends, she remembered the final cannon going off before they were forced to surrender to that woman. She promised herself she would spend all the time she could trying to get out even if it cost her life. She looked at the sun in the window trying to tell the time by that.

" To me it is, but i doubt anyone would think the same." He answer emotionlessly, he didn't wanted to reveal anything to someone he didnt knew anything about. Stopping Averill turn fully toward his slave, searching in his mind the right way to start a conversation. " Since you dare ask me a question, i am going to do the same. How was your morning so far ?" It sounded a bit ackward but again he was never good with peoples or words in those conditions, it was somthing that others were asking him often so he though it would work.

Emrys decided to accept the answer even though it revealed absolutely nothing to her. She was already pushing her luck asking something like that to a prince for heavens sake! Her face went a little pale as he stopped so abruptly, and immediately she thought she did something wrong. She didn't make a move though, or talk as he attempted to start a conversation with her. Emrys did not expect that question at all. It... It sounded like he was trying to be friendly...? If that was the word for what that was.
After regaining herself, she cleared her throat and answered.
"It, uh, it's been just as good as any other morning, your highness. Erm, how was yours..?"
It was strange to say the least he was trying to start a conversation, but she would rather have a conversation than get backhanded like she saw all the other slaves that were as curious as her.

Lidia
"Oh no, I don't mean to add more work for you. I can wair it just fine!", Lidia called quickly feeling bad. "You should relax today, it should be fun for you." The blonde took her friend's hands, smiling softly. "It's your day.", She added sweetly, her soft smile getting slightly wider.

Riften
Riften nodded, feeling his cheeks gain warmth for no reason. It was just another side effect of being around the tall blonde male. When Amias stiffened he took a small step back out of habit; it was all because of his fear of being hit. He looked up at him, smiling back, loosely clasping his hands in front of his chest. "Yay, thank you for accompanying me.", He said.

"Oh? I haven't been able to visit the gardens for two months now.", Riften mused, excited about the new flora. He followed quietly, glancing up at Amias now and again, but his eyes where mainly glued on his feet.

"Liddy, that is sweet, but it is my job. Besides, I enjoy helping you." Odelina stated. She winked at her. "We need to find some materials. It shouldn't take too long to get done!" She whispered. She smiled back.

" It was rather uneventfull so far and the sky was cloudy last night so you can call it somwhat boring morning." He reply with a slight shrug, he had no clues how to keep the conversation going so he let it fall on a rather ackward note. It was his first tentative of discution with someone that wasn't a noble and without it being realy all that successful it wasn't so bad, he wasn't shaking like a leaf or trying to escape so it was an improvement to earlyer. He also noted that it seemed to have brough the slave attention away from what he was carrying, he assumed that it was for the best at the moment as he resumed walking.

Nicote was definitely not doing whatever he shoukdve been doing. His father would probably be pissed at him. But either way, hed rather be hanging out watching everything going on from his secluded little alcove under the stairs....

Rma was next to her master and glad that for once her geniktic rebel of a master was being moody.

Amias again felt a bit bad for causing Riften to step back. Sometimes it was still hard for him to register being touched in a non threatening way, he figured it was the same for Riften.
"Mhm, I'll do it anytime Ekon doesn't need me. Or... when we're at war." Amias replied with a soft smile. This was the first bit of peace that the country had in years.
Two months? What could Grift possibly be making Riften do for all this time? Amias thought with a frown, before looking down at the elf.
"We'll have to try to get you out more then, might just need your help with "polishing more weapons"." Amias smiled a bit. It was the coming excuse Amias used, but he tried not to use it too often, because either Grift or Ekon would catch on. Sometimes it was that he needed help with his own armor, sometimes it was merely for cleaning the armory, the list went on for the excuses to see Riften. The elf was the only person in this castle he would let himself care about. Everyone else was just faceless nobodies, but Riften meant something.
