c) The forest
I know that if this town is touched by the disease, the other nearest human towns are probably already affected as well. I can see a Forest in the distance, and decide to head towards it. Forests are reassuring. They provide food, they allow to hide... And in a Forest I could find some Wood Elven who might be able to help me understand what is happening in this land better.

Maldok sighs with relief as he enters the serene clearing. The lake is situated perfectly in the middle with a few skinny trees. For a moment he begins walking towards a tree cluster, excited by the thought of feeling the rough bark beneath his thin, agile fingers once more. His feet stop as he remembers his water skin is close to empty. A small leather water skin is withdrawn from his belt and he leans into the lake to

After filling and drinking from his water skin, Maldok
A. looks around
in the hopes of finding a comfortable tree to rest in for the rest of the day and perhaps overnight. During his time in the elvish tribes, Maldok spent many moons hiding, sleeping, and scouting from trees. He could climb and sometimes rest on even the most slender of branches - one of the advantages of being as light as a feather.
Judging by his location and the short distance between him and Ihndiste, it is unlikely that there is another town nearby. Even if there were another town he fears that it too would be plagued by the deathly and gross Captain's Wiles.

I am caught in a trap. After the initial shock, I try to be as calm as it is possible in this situation, and I try to cut myself free before anyone comes.
It could be a hunting trap made to catch animals, but it could also be a trap made by bandits... And I can't be sure that the people who have made the trap are not infected by the disease plaguing the land, so I need to escape quickly!

The instant that the dark eyes sparkle in the shadows, Maldok
F. draws his bow and holds the arrow aimed at the shadow.
With a steady arm, the elf silently awaits an answer from what ever is hiding before him. Maldok is not one to act without reason, and would rather face the possibility of death than kill an innocent. After some time the elf gently says, "Show yourself, shadow."

The woods felt wrong, almost as soon as Aoife entered. Her spine tingled and her fingers itched to grab ahold of her axe. She held back, trying to remain calm as she walked through the tall trees. She tried to strain her ears, listening for any signs of life. She heard nothing more than a few birds chirping in the distance, but something was most definitely off.
Slowly, she halted, deciding to...

...though she saw nothing much. Still, she stayed still, trying to get a better grasp of her surroundings before continuing.
