Malak continued shaking his head slightly. They had just been abducted by some sort of super shadow beings, her wing was broken, and she was sitting there criticizing herself. It was absurd.
"I shall call you ridiculous if it is so," he told her firmly, a bit of a twinkle in his eyes, "And you have been anything but useless. You did save my life with that beast back at the lake." He touched his arm where the creature had bit him, remembering the incident. He gave a slight shiver and pulled his cloak tight around himself. "I wonder where we are..."

She met your gaze, and her eyes widened with sudden realized. "Oh, gods... You're probably freezing, aren't you? I mean, it is cold in here... But your skin tone suggests you're used to warmer temperatures. Here..." she inched closer to you, and then carefully pulled you into a hug, her arms wrapped around your shoulders and her wings, broken and not, enveloping you in their strange warmth.

Malak continued gazing about the room, giving it more observation than he had when he had first woken up. In fact he wasn't even looking at Elysetta while she spoke about it being cold.
"Its nothing to worry about," he said to her, turning toward her again, "I'm alri..." He trailed of as she began to put her arms and wings around him. There was a stunned moment where he remained still as a board, not ble to process what was happening, and then he rocketed backwards hastily out of grasp, his heart pounding in his chest, his eyes wide.
