Ava nodded ever so slightly back and continued for a moment. She looked at Victor who was now standing up and placed a hand to his chest, backing him into a wall. " How about we do just that, Vic? A nice, quiet room.. all to ourselves.." she said, tracing small circles on his chest. Victor was blushing heavily and didn't know how to respond. Ava brought her face close to his and whispered, " And.. I'll be all yours~ "

"Um...you guys? I'm still here and you're not in a room. So would you go somewhere else?"

Alaska couldn't believe what she was watching. Her fists had clenched and were shaking. She calmed herself and walked in, pretending she was just going to get a snack

That was Ava's cue to back off, moving away from the now unable to speak Victor, but before she left she kissed his cheek and said, " Remember my offer~ " Before walking off. Victor was.. stunned. He didn't like that very much but was too shocked to speak, he simply went back to looking for supplies.

Alaska just loved the fact that Victor doesn't mention anything about that. No apology, no nothing. Or maybe he likes Ava better than her and just decided that he would break the news later. It hit her that she might have caused him to look for someone else...pushing him away like she did, always getting mad. As always, though, her pride got in the way of her apologizing. She just kept acting normal, but a war was going on inside of her head

Victor found some other small things and set them on the counter, and moments later Maria came running in, " Daaaaad! ' She said in an excited tone, " You promised to show me how to shoot a gun today! " She said again, tugging on his good arm. Victor chuckled a little bit, finally finding his voice again. " I did, did I? Well, I never do break my promises.. I will be there in a minute, okay? And remember, no holding the gun till I get there! " Maria nodded and ran off. " Hey Puck, I need to go real quick.. Forgot I promised that.. and I don't break promises. "

(Yup xD)

Puck nodded. "No worries."

"No worries?!" Alaska asked, panicking. "What if the gun is faulty and just goes off? What if Maria touches something she isn't supposed to and...?"

That made Victor snap a little bit, " Are you suggesting I'd put our child in harms way? She is not pointing it at herself, she isn't stupid. It doesn't fire backwards at all, it's a revolver, and if I let her stay how she is she is in more danger because of what's outside. The hoards aren't getting any smaller. And, when was the last time I let any of my family get hurt for any reason!? "

( Alaska forgets how protective Victor is of family for 1.1 seconds xd )

"No!" She yelled. "Don't even right now! I just don't want her to grow up having to go through what we're going through right now! No child should have to! I'm trying to give her a better future at whatever the costs! You teaching her how to fire a gun might just propel her into this life, don't you think? "

" And so you want her to have the risk of being killed by them?! I won't be around forever, I don't know how long this will last, and the least I can do for her is ensure she can fight! What if raiders come? It already happened. She isn't safe without being able to protect herself. I don't want any of us to go through this, you the most! But I can't just let her think everything is fine, and then be killed one day because she didn't know better. If I let that happened.. if I let one more person die who I love.. "

"Like you said, she isn't stupid. I'm sure she's figured that something isn't right here. She's a smart girl! And who says she hasn't learned anything about self defense? There are human beings around her who know how to fight and you think nobody's taught her anything yet? "
