"I suppose I can half the salt, and do you like to crochet as well? My sister loved that and taught me a bit, I didn't really get very into it." I pull the cakes out of the oven and set them on the stove to cool. I think he'd quite enjoy a lime cake, that'd be fun! I grab a third bowl and start mixing a base batter.
