During this time the blue eyed creature had crawled out of the vent and was now strolling around the kitchen, at least from what you could see and hear from it. They seemed to have the capacity to become invisible, allowing you to only see their eyes.
I wait for the water to boil, then add the fettuccini and put the pan on the stove as well. "Better get the shrimp started, and get these seasonings done while I'm at it." I put some olive oil in the pan and wait for it to sizzle. How neat, they can go invisible. Heh, I wish I could do that every so often.

You eventualy found an access back to the more open space of the building. Luckly it was the opening leading to the kitchen, you could however hear someone talk and the sound of somthing cooking.

Sparky followed the noise and looked out the opening of the vent, hoping it was not a number.

Noticing someone she gently opened the vent, the vent opening still made a loud creaking noise when it opened though, making her flinch. She then climbed/fell out of the vent, getting up slowly to face the thing that was cooking.
"Hey," She called brushing some dust off her clothes as she stood up and checked her pocket, sighing with relief when she felt the flashlight in there.

At the sound of the newcomer, the blue eyed number tilt it's head, it was however only apparent due to the movement of their eyes as it's body was still invisible.
