"Ah yes, that's right," Mrs. Mouse exclaimed. "You haven't met them yet. Jay is a small blue bird. If he's around, then I'm sure the others, a young hyena and a fox should be around as well. I'd go with you, but I'm worried about splitting up too much. If you can't see them easily, you should come back and we'll find a way up there together. They're a strong group, so I have faith that they'll be alright until then."

"Hopefully. I mean, they dont have a wolf with them..." loki muttered. Night gruned and said nothing

Agust glanced at Loki briefly, then decided not to think too hard about what he said. He turned his attention back to Mrs. Mouse. "Alright. I'll go see what I can see." He squawked before taking off. "I'll be back down in a moment!"

Scarlet paces back and forth from where she is, 'Jay do you think the others saw us? I really hope they did if not maybe Hunter can track us?"

"Stay safe!" Grey suggests to August.

Hunter doesn't know how long he has ran, but by now, he is wishing he had stayed put. All the smells and scents were fairly new, but finding his friends scents was definitely hard in the distracting blend of different and almost intoxicating smells. He wasn't even sure he had picked up the right trail to follow when he took off again.

Jay shook all his feathers in answer. "I hope so as well. We should turn back and try to retrace our steps. You have a pretty good nose, right? Maybe you can track your own scent. This place gives me the creeps so I don't want to spend any extra time here." He feared that he would run into a lion or an elephant. Neither one would bode well for them.

Mrs. Mouse nudged Night and Loki in the other direction while beckoning to Gray with her tail. "Since you have the sharpest ears and eyes, Gray, I want you to keep watch and make sure August gets back safe. If you see one of the others again, let us know. The rest of us should split up and look around the halls, see which way is the best up the top ledge." It had been their original goal and it looked like the answer was needed sooner rather than later.

Loki and Night nodded. "Got it.."

August wheeled around and around in the air, eyes scanning for anything that fit Mrs. Mouse's description. "....Hm."

Scarelt nods and starts to track her scent with her delicate nose. After a few minutes she follows her scent back to the place that she had ran, "I think this place moved again because I'm only able to track in a circle."

"Are you sure you didn't just run in a circle?" Jay muttered. It was true that they hadn't reached the room they started in and he didn't see any sign of Hunter either. Maybe he went down to meet up with the others though? "Do you think we should just explore on our own? I'm really worried about Hunter though. He's the sort to get lost..."

Since Mrs. Mouse suspected that the eastern-most hallway led to the upper level, she started searching there, going up a few steps just to get a gauge on the direction. It felt...right, but she saw no evidence to prove it. After scuffling about on the ground for a bit, she returned, wondering what sort of luck the others had.
