Sven, 160 HP, Vathia Kingdom (Tailor)

Sven enters the shop slightly winded, glancing around quickly his eyes bounce from one item to another before settling on the empty counter and then the black haired man at it. He looks away hastily, knowing that staring would just attract attention, but he was pretty relieved that the other guy didn't seem to pay the dead one any mind. Although he looked kind of scary--

The draugr hones in on the intial cloth that caught his attention. It was basically just a blanket, but he could just wrap it around himself. Besides that-- ...should make it cheaper right? Well it seemed like common sense that the cloaks that were stitched and decorated would be more expensive yeah.

The blanket looked slightly furry, but upon further inspection he finds its just made of fuzzy material. Oh, good, actual fur would cost a pretty penny.

Sven pulls it down from a rack gently, and it falls into a pile in his hands-- awkwardly-- he looks back at the counter where the other guy still stands like a stone statue.

He decides he doesn't really want to stand next to, or behind the guy, so the draugr just wanders to the other corner of the shop, trying his best to look like he's still browsing and debating on a purchase. Oh, wow thats an expensive looking cloak-- he thinks to himself, actually becoming invested in staring at the fabrics. He's silently inspecting the stitching, in his head trying to figure out how they did that--

Armand I 60 HP | Kingdom of Vathia (Tailor)

Armand watched the draugr for a moment, resting his hand against the hilt of his sheathed sword. "If I was you, I wouldn't get caught putting your hands on everything. Not often you see a dead man walk into this town."
His words were surprisingly distant, cutting almost as deep as any blade would. Armand had completely seen through the draugr's attempted ruse and had approached Sven from behind when he had turned away. He took a step forward, reaching out to take the cloak Sven had been eyeing off the rack. He looked it over for a moment before holding it out to Sven to look over more closely.
"Is this what you're after? The shopkeeper isn't an idiot. A lot of thieves have come in here in the past. You won't have any luck with him."

Sven, 160 HP, Kingdom of Vathia (Tailor)

"Aha nope...!" The draugr replied instantly, stifling his urge to curse in surprise. Jesus Christ he hated being snuck up on--

He attempted to push the cloak away before realizing that the guy was handing it to him, then quickly took it instead, putting it back on the wall and trying to make sure it didn't get damaged in the five seconds he touched it. "If I wanted to try to steal anythin' I would have miserably failed and have been caught by now--" Sven continued to blabber.

"Oh wait- uh I mean, I don't steal I was just-- I was inspecting the stitching! Its nice handiwork! I'm useless with a needle if you get what I mean ahaha..." he cleared his throat. "Nope, no I'm just lookin' to get this one--" the draugr poked the brown blanket thrown over his arm.

"And no not often you see-- uh, a dead man." Sven finished his word vomit, looking everywhere but the man and feeling strangely like a scolded child, then again, he was also still acutely aware of the sword on the strangers hip-- a good reason to feel scolded for sure.

Oh yeah, definitely wasn't often you see a dead man here, I had to distract some guards to get through the gates. He thought to himself.

The shopkeeper had returned with Armand's jacket under his arm. "T'is all for ye then?"

Armand I 60 HP I Kingdom of Vathia (Tailor)
"Just one more thing for my acquaintance. I make more than I know what to do with right now anyways." Armand said with a low chuckle and took out a bag of coins, counting out enough for the total of the cloak and pocketed the rest of them for himself. He set the bag on the counter, motioning Sven to grab the cloak.
"If it keeps you from robbing the place or murdering the tailor, I'll consider it my good deed for the year. He won't throw you out if you're good business." He muttered under his breath to the draugr, clearly not trusting the man not to do anything reckless.

Sven, 160 HP, Vathia Kingdom (Tailor)

Not one to turn down gifts (especially in his situation now), Sven did take the cloak, wisely keeping his mind shut while looking between the shop keeper and this now scary, big, and loaded stranger.

That was until-- "I already told you I wasn't plannin' on robbin' the store!" The draugr whispered sharply to the dark haired-man as he was leaving. Sven clicked his tongue in annoyance and forgot himself momentarily. Well-- whatever! He wasn't taking it back, he meant it, and what was the guy gonna do? Kill him? Again? Actually wait he could actually do that... Maybe not in the shop but later. Ah shoot. The draugr held his breath, hoping his stubbornness hadn't seriously screwed him over again this time.

"Is that so? Aye, lad, ye ne'er dis'point do, ye?" The shopkeeper returned a laugh, taking the coins off the counter. "Pleasure doin' busi'nes wit ye."
He seemed to eye Sven with some suspicion after his outburst, but said nothing, letting the draugr slip out of the store with his new cloak.

Armand | 60 HP I Kingdom of Vathia (Marketplace Center)
Armand took the jacket back, donned it, and quietly thanked the shopkeeper before departing.
Thankfully for Sven, Armand had no intentions of breaking any laws today. His contract was too valuable. He just shook his head, adjusted his jacket some, and returned to the Prince's side.

Damien | 70 HP I Kingdom of Vathia (Marketplace Center)
Prince Damien had taken a seat alongside a flowing fountain while he waited for Kandir to show. He gave a slight smile to Armand on his return. "That didn't take nearly as long as I expected."

Armand | 60 HP I Kingdom of Vathia (Marketplace Center)
"Time is a valuable asset, Prince. I'm sure you know that." Armand took a seat alongside the Amati, folding his arms.

Aaron - 70 - Vathia (Marketplace)

Aaron slinks into the market square, keeping to the shadows out of habit more than anything. Surveying the scene before him for anyone who looks-- interesting, his eyes alight upon a vaguely odd couple of humanoids sitting at the edge of the water fountain. The white haired one appeared to have wings. Now that was a novelty. Adjusting the collar of his coat, Aaron starts his round-about way over.

Damien | 70 HP | Kingdom of Vathia (Marketplace Center)
The prince was writing things down in a small pocketbook with a quill, unaware of the lizard's presence.

Armand | 60 HP | Kingdom of Vathia (Marketplace Center)
Armand was much more wary, following the rogue with his eyes as he rested a hand on the hilt of his sword. He gave the lizard a stern frown, opting to give the lizardman a fair chance to state his business.

Sven, 160HP, Vathia Kingdom

I didn't waste any time in donning my new cloak when I left the tailors. Pulling the dark brown hood over my face as much as I could while still being able to see, I sighed internally.

This was going to be so useful in the future.

Well... It wouldn't be assuring my entrance into anywhere-- but it would definitely lower my chances of being slain on sight atleast.

Dammit, why the crap was I even 'alive' again? It kinda sucked if you know what I mean--

Well. Whatever. All things answered in time-- or not. Didn't matter much to me right now.

All things considered I'd gotten pretty damn lucky today. Silently I wondered when the other shoe would drop, there would be one, eventually I was sure. My luck-- as shown in my current situation-- was pretty damn awful.

I decided it wouldn't be a good to loiter infront of the tailors shop too much longer after clearly making a purchase, and began to walk along the forums edge, readjusting my belongings to accommodate my new coat. My rucksack got shrugged off and put back on over the cloak and while I was still going through my pockets, I made sure to locate all those loose coins and drop them into a breastpocket. Cool, wouldn't forget about those now.

I stop at the corner of a pub, assessing my surroundings now that that was dealt with.

Kandir | 70 | Kingdom of Vathia (Marketplace Center)
"Great I'm late, I gotta stop getting distracted" I grumbled to myself as I rushed to the Marketplace with my bag, jewelry jangling as I ran. I stop at the street entrance and look around for Damien, "Aha! There he is." I jog over to him, noticing a bodyguard type person next to him. "I am so sorry. I thought I had time so I went back to working on my projects and lost track of time. I sincerely apologize. I have gotten all my stuff though and am ready to leave." I explain as I adjust the bag on my shoulder.
