Hunter pouted, "Fine, kitty, go figure out how to leave alone. That's a better way to die with those wild animals." Hunter shivered as he remembered his last close encounter with one.

The mouse didn't expect to be approached. That wasn't how any of this worked. After all, hadn't she been watching the fox for some time. Maybe she had been staring too hard, and the thought would have left her blushing if she were some youth and well...could blush beneath her brown for. "E-excuse me. I'm terribly sorry if I've offended you. I just happen to like watching," the mouse murmured. "You seemed to be doing a fine job of looking for a way out of here though. I wouldn't want to get in your way..." Standing on her hind legs, she offered a small bow as if in farewell, though she made no move to back away herself.

Jay felt bad for chastising the Hyena, especially considering they seemed like a child. He supposed he was just showing his chattering bird-nature. "I apologize, Hunter. It is good to meet anyone cognizant in this world," the bird murmured back.

He was left flying high yet again though when a black cat slipped out of the foliage. It was quite uncanny how all these animals were popping up out of the shadows and of course they all had to be things that ate birds. "Erm, hello...? Jay settled back to let just listen to the conversation until a particular point stood out to him.

"Wait!" he exclaimed to the cat. "A way out? What do you mean through 'that way'?!"

Hunter looked At his paws. "It's all right." He hopped to the cat. "And you can stop being so grumpy."

"That way? Whaddya mean?" Grey turned on the cat.

Grey blinked, "you sure?" She was determined not to get her hopes up until she knew for sure...basically seeing it for herself.

"It's fine I just came to see if you wanted to help and thank you," Scarlet spoke. She noticed the mouse did nothing to back away so she just stood there not wanting to seem mean. Scarlet looks around for anything that could be used as a peac offering.
